This works much better than all other hummingbird nectars! Sweet-Nectar is the best. The hummingbirds actually come to our feeders and stay longer so we can actually see them! Bought two new hummingbird feeders along with this food to offer to the ones I’ve occasionally seen flying about near my house in the CT woods. Within 15 minutes they were feeding from it. Over the next hour or two I saw multiple return visits or new visitors (hard to tell at this stage) - observed one stay perched for about a minute and drink continuously - and two hummingbirds who kept reappearing while seemingly squabbling in a territorial way over who should have access (one was nectar blocking the other). Clearly this food is a hit.

I have 5 hummingbird feeders off my back deck. 2 with this product in it and the rest with the power you have to mix with water. My hummingbirds absolutely LOVE this nectar by far. They fight over the feeders with this nectar in it and only go to the other feeders if this one is out. Trust me they let me know about it to!

Worried for months as our stock of discontinued EZ Nectar ran out, and Perky Pet’s More Birds version followed suit with the handy boxed 33oz version tanked, I finally opted to try another brand. Our local hummers had for years ignored the old Perky Pet brand, whether from concentrate powder or premixed, and were accustomed and addicted to EZ Nectar. Sweet Seeds’ container fits in the fridge, seals well, is as “organic” as EZ Nectar, and is easier to use.The great affirmer, though, is the feed rate. With only one or two birds around this year I’m surprised how fast our two “flower pot” feeders are draining, at least as fast as when we could buy EZ Nectar. The only use of our old Perky Pet mix feeder was one migrating Rufous. Our indigenous Anna’s won’t touch it.Despite a yard absolutely enveloped with blooms that they attend, the little pot feeders are the last bird visitation before soaring up into the rear green space forest. Hopefully this new product will help rebound the local population, so we can enjoy constant feeders at our flower pots and windows and aerial “battles” over our yard once again, showing them off to visitors who love the fun. We look forward to fresh winged babies too, directed to our yard and sustenance by their mothers as the population returns to normal.

This particular brand/variety of hummingbird nectar is very popular. The birds are waiting in the morning for me to set out the feeders during the cold weather. I have never had such a good response.

The media could not be loaded. The birds love it and I just went to reorder! Very easy to use. Price increased by $6 in just two months! You’ve outpriced yourself for me, seller. Makes me very sad because it has been the preferred food this year!

While working at home I decided to place a hummingbird feeder outside my office window. The first year I used Sweet-Seed Nectar and the hummingbirds fed all day long. Earlier this year I tried a different brand, and no hummingbirds. After getting another container of Sweet-Seed Nectar, they're back. This product works very well and should attract hummingbirds to your feedrs.

I've purchased the same brand before in the purple package and the hummingbirds loved it and would return to drink out of the feeder every 30 minutes or so. It was out of stock the last time I tried to order so I got this one instead. Hummingbirds either fly to the feeder and then take off without touching it or take a few tiny sips and leave, never to come back again. Even when a hummingbird was starving in the snow and flew onto to the feeder to drink while my husband was still holding the feeder she took a sip from one hole, flew to another hole and took a sip, and then took off. Clearly this nectar is bad stuff. Sadly, I'll have to throw the whole thing away and buy something else. What a waste!
