Old School Maritime Charm
Love this devise. Seems old fashioned and authentic to an earlier time. Love the wooden box it lives in too. Can’t wait to try it out.

(Why would I rate Thickness and warmth? It's not a sweater, it's a nautical instrument.)Love it! Got it for my dad for Father's day, he was quite pleased. Presentation is very nice, in a pretty box that keeps it tightly put away and safe. It looks antique and its a pretty nifty gadget.The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I wish it had come with detailed instructions how to use it, not all sextants are the same (I think!) And it's not self-explanatory... like at all.

Fell apart
The sextant fell apart when I lifted it out of the box.Unfortunately there are no assembly instructions for this sextant.
