Good For Hobby Use
Love it. If anything, it is almost too much welder for the money and a hobbyiest like me will never get to use the full range of functions available on this machine. I have owned it for over a year and used it for everything and anything I could find to weld. I welded things that needed welding and, well, I welded a lot of things that didn't need welding. It is so much fun, I find myself looking for excuses to make things I don't need, then cut them up and make more things I don't need. This is my second welder. My first was from a cheap discount tool place and it did its job but this baby is like switching from a paper airplane to an F18. Easy to set up. Easy to operate. Plenty of adjustment for welding everything from thin sheet metal to 3/8" steel. The MIG is flawless. Stick would be flawless if I could learn to control my movement a bit better.FIVE YEAR UPDATE. I have now owned this over five years and continue to use it occasionally for misc. hobby applications. I am NOT a welder and therefore avoid welding anything that would have safety implications (e.g., I turned down a friend who begged me to repair his trailer hitch system). Still, for basic "stick it together" applications, this does a great job for MIG on mild steel. Once I mounted it on a cart along with a bottle, it was much more convenient to roll it out and use it for quick and dirty jobs.

Worth the money !!!
This little welder is exactly what I needed. I was torn between this welder and the weld pro 210 lcd. The weld pro jumped to about 900 so I then took the chance on this welder. It comes with everything you need to get going. And it also comes with the knurled drive role for flux core which I had to do some digging to see if it did before I purchased it. I have been running it on 120 and it does great! I havnt really tried to weld anything over an 1/8 thick but I have welded some real thin stuff and it does good. I have only used flux core in it so far so I can’t comment on how well it does with gas. The only complaint I would say I have with it is when it’s going and I’m welding the spool makes this weird rubbing noise every once in a while.

The best value in a welder.
The welder arrived in perfect condition. I used the thickness settings guide on the inside of the door for a couple test welds on exhaust tubing and 3/16 angle iron. This welder creates at puddle quickly, had great penetration and weld flawlessly.

Very powerful mig welder
Purchased 2 years ago, have not put it to much use but the times I have, I can tell you that its a bang for the buck. Very smooth feel to it. I have welded with very good industrial mig welders and I feel better using my everlast mig welder. Planning on buying the 251si, which seems like a beast; for the tig function. I do not know if it is worth spending twice the cost on Miller or Lincoln due to the 5-year warrant that Everlast offers.

Very good value for the money.
Seems to put down a very good weld bead on mig or stick. I was pleasantly surprised that it seems to work well as a power source for scratch start tig, on steel no aluminum, this is a dc machine only. this is more of a hobby for me I have no formal welding training.

Perfect
I'm loveing this welder. Have used it for all prosseses, mig, stick, and csratch start time without a problem. It's been a great welder and has lots of life left in it. The fetures are easy to control, and although their a little tuchy at times they work great. I should never need another welder.

Broke during first project IMIG200
My welder broke during my first project. A loud pop came from the inside of the machine. Everlast offered to fix it but I have to pay for shipping. It was performing very well before the inside popped during start up. I was using a generator that is not clean power certified, that might have caused the machine to go bad.
