These were perfect for a DIY tassel chandelier I made. The thread is very slippery, so I had to use glue, but I doubt most people are buying these just to cut the top and tie them onto a lampshade. There is a bit of variation in quality, girth, and length within each pack (I went through 4), but the color was very consistent. If you’re using them for a project that doesn’t need to be perfect, or where they won’t be right next to each other, these are great. I’ll definitely order again if I repeat this project.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I needed these for bookmarks for my niece’s wedding and they were exactly what I wanted.

I purchased multiple colors of these tassels from this company; they came super fast and have lasted me so long! Perfect for bookmarks, etc. I really wouldn't describe this color as cyan, though - more like a sage.

So I had to edit this review. I initially thought these were so much darker than the picture, but it turned out they were packaged in a smoke colored bag. So the clear window I thought I was seeing, was actually discolored making everything appear darker. Had I not opened these to see how they would actually look on the book marks, I would have left poor reviews and returned everything.
