Great Buy - Hola Heavy Duty Mandolin Case
I fits an odd shaped Mandolin. Before I make my next mandolin I want to be sure a case was available. My model for the mandolin is a two point instrument which does not fit a case I have, the horns exceed the width of my existing case. The Hola case is not form-fitting but has ample interior padding. The case is heavy duty. My mandolin, a copy of a Kay Venetian instrument, will fit easily into the Hola case. Another nice feature is the low price. Very happy with this!

Great protection for your instrument.
This bag is very well padded and has a nice pocket for extra strings, etc. I took it, with my new mandolin, on a two-week camping trip in Michigan. We squeezed three people, two cats, and lot of camping gear into a Ford Focus, but the case kept my mandolin safe the entire time. The thick padding not only provides extra cushioning, but also protects the instrument from sweating during temperature changes. In addition, there's a thick piece of leather sewn in the headstock area to help keep the mandolin in tune. It's not a hard shell case, but it is a very good gig bag, with a handle and a strap.

The HOLA Mandolin Case fits Perfectly.
I needed a decent case to keep my cheap knockoff Venetian style mandolin protected from the elements and to keep it from getting any extra unwanted dings on it. The HOLA mandolin case works out just right. It fits great with a little extra room where needed in the main compartment. And there's plenty of room in the extra outside pocket for additional pack of strings, picks, cleaning cloth, tuner, capo etc... There's adequate padding all around it and was the right price for my instrument. The included single strap can be somewhat adjusted to fit diagonally across a medium adult size chest or hang off the shoulders. But it's not a backpack style. At the time of this review (01/21/25) it was $15.99.Happy with the purchase.

Good Cheap Mandolin Case
I'm a music teacher and this case is perfect for transporting my mandolin to and from lessons. The quality is quite high for how cheap it is.

Good bag for the money with solid construction
Fits F-style mandolin or Yamaha guitalele. The front pocket is not tall enough to fit a music book (8.5" x 11", size of standard paper) but will fit an iPad and smaller books. I also have to picks in with the mix because the large pocket on the front is the only pocket. The single shoulder strap works okay but I get the feeling that if I put too much weight on it then I wouldn't hold up. But, yes I do use this bag regularly, it was worth the price, and if the top of the shoulder strap ever separates from the bag I'll repare it and keep using the bag. The padding is a good thickness, bag did not smell of strange odors, and is easy to use and carry. Good medium-heavy zipper that can open the bag entirely.

Very high quality for a very low price
I have been searching for a case for my Outdoor Banjolele for some time. This case is for A or F style Mandolins but my Banjolele fits perfectly and snuggly. The case itself is well-made with sufficient padding to protect my instrument. The length of my Banjolele is 28" with a 12" banjo head.

Roomy, nice zippers, appears to be good construction.
I'm pleased with the good quality of this Hola mandolin gig bag. It seems well-constructed, and the pictures match the item (I bought the black version). The only mandolin I've put in it so far, is a modern (new) standard-looking "A" style mandolin (low-cost Rogue RM-100A), and the Hola case gives sufficient protection with room left over so it's not snug/tight - I don't have to remove the mandolin's strap first (I know, bad habit), just put it all in there and zip 'er up, fits great. Both the zippers (the main zipper and also the outside pocket zipper) are two-way zippers (can zip from either end) and they seem good quality, they work smoothly, I haven't got them hung up on the cloth or anything yet.The main zipper goes all the way around the bag (except for a couple-inch wide cloth-reinforced area at back) so you can unzip it as far as you want to (you can't completely unzip it to *remove* the top, but most people probably wouldn't want to do that anyway).Handle is padded and seems comfortable, and there's *another* strap (adjustable length) on the *back* so you could carry it as a back/shoulder-bag type of thing if you wish.Front *outside* zippered pocket is nice too, although that pocket is about a 1/2-inch too short to hold full-size printed 8.5"x11" (21.5cm x 28cm) sheet music, but eh no problem really, I very seldom use printed *anything* anymore. Although I noted that the outside pocket *is* big enough to hold a full-size thick hymn book (the test book measures 6.12" wide (15.7cm) x 9" high (22.8cm) x 1.25" (3.9cm) thick. The pocket itself measures about 9.25" wide (23.5cm), and the *usable* square height is about 9" (22.8cm) but the *actual* (arch-shaped/rounded) top is about 11.25" (28.5cm) high at its *peak* but it *won't* hold a *square* item that tall (see pictures of front pocket to see rounded top shape of pocket).MORE MEASUREMENTS - the mandolin compartment: Keep in mind the bag is quite flexible so this following set of measurements isn't very precise, but this will give an idea of the gig bag's INTERIOR size, here's what I got with my tape measure:Inside LENGTH: about 30" (76.2cm),Inside WIDTH at widest part: about 13" (approx 33cm),Inside DEPTH: at deepest (body) area about 3.5" (approx 8.9cm) which tapers to about 2" (approx 5.1cm) at headstock (the narrow/top part). As you can see in the pictures, there isn't a pick/accessory pocket on the *inside* of the gig bag (under the mandolin's neck) like there is in some hard-shell cases, I suppose it would be difficult to add such a pocket on a flexible gig bag, anyway it isn't really necessary with this gig bag because there's the large *outside* zippered pocket to put picks, tuners, it would even hold a couple of 16-ounce (half-liter) small water bottles but that's not advised 'cause the water bottles might leak. :)So anyway I give this thing 5 stars because it seems well-designed and well-built, and it's perfect for my uses.

Great bag
I posted a review already but somehow it didn't show up so I'll make a new one. I had looked at other gig bags that were twice the price and were also way too big allowing the mandolin to move around risking damage. I found this one and am very pleased with the quality. The padding throughout the case is very thick and has a vinyl patch to prevent the head from snagging when the bag is closed. It fits my F style mandolin perfectly. At first I thought it was too small but it just takes a little pulling to fit the instrument inside. I read a review by someone else stating that the zipper is poor quality. They must have gotten a dud because the zipper on my bag is works fine. The teeth in the zipper are heavy than others I've seen. The only thing I would suggest changing is making the front pouch a bit longer. It's a little too short to fit a music book in. Still, it's a nicely made pouch. There are higher quality bags out there but for a much greater price.
