This Rovsun Water Distiller is a great machine. We purchased it on sale a few weeks ago and have made several batches of distilled water. We use distilled water for our iron, CPAP, and cold mist humidifier. It's convenient to stay home and not have to go from store to store to find distilled water.

Have used for 3 weeks and it works great. It is loud when using and quite a large appliance so suggest you find a room where it can be out of the way. We put it in our laundry room. The distilled water comes out crystal clear and it makes a gallon in 4 hours as promised. The crap left in the tank after is pretty nasty. Need to wait for it to cool and wipe that out. You also need to do a deep cleaning around once a month. It’s a bit or work because I make a gallon very day to feed our humidifier, but it is worth it. It should pay for itself in around 2 months.

Love it!! This machine is excellent for people with CPAP machines. We were having trouble finding distilled water for a while, so we bought this. It is so convenient —plug-and-play, super easy. I suggest you get citric acid with it, as it helps with clean up. You will need to clean it between each use. Just let it run with the citric acid in there for 20-30 minutes with the lid off, and it wipes clean as new in seconds.

I wish I had chosen this brand the first time. I recently had to replace my old water distiller that I bought 3 years ago that was 4 TIMES (you read that right) the price as this one! I was upset that I spent so much money on a product that only lasted 3 years, so I abandoned that brand and found Rovsun. It looks nearly identical to the one I replaced. Main difference is the on/off switch in the back which is so convenient because I no longer have to plug/unplug to turn it on and off. I also love the stainless steel spout on the Rovsun compared to the plastic spout on the one I replaced. Distillation takes the same amount of time, which is roughly 6 hours. I should add that some reviewers complained about the PPM readings. Distilled water should be 0.5 PPM or less to be labeled as "distilled". But you need to keep in mind that not everything can be removed through the distillation process alone. You need to filter as well to remove particles that can't be removed from distillation, hence the filters they provide for you inside the spout. They're easy to change out. Just be sure to change them periodically. Changing them depends on how frequently you use your water distiller. Personally, I change mine monthly. Overall this is a great, inexpensive, water distiller. Highly recommend!
