I had a leaky hot water heater hose and needed a new one. the big box stores only had 3/4 inch hoses and i needed a 1 inch connection. place an order for these and they fit perfectly. you'll need a little plumbers tape, tighten them on, and done. the old ones were about 15 years old. the house water hose side was leaking but this came in a set of two so i place both of them. really easy to use and install.

I ordered the 18 inch hoses and the product I received was just shy of 16 inches (including connectors).Fortunately they are adequate for my application, but beware if you are needing the full advertised length.
