Very sturdy
It has a nice look, it’s easy to use, and seems to be very durable. It’s heavy but in a good way not feeling cheap. Overall it functions like a spoon I expected it to be and was worth the money.

Spoonula? Spatoon?
I don’t often use wooden utensils in the kitchen, and when I do, I only use spoons. This shape intrigued me so I ordered it. The listed length and width are accurate and it is fairly light at .17 lbs. What you can’t tell for certain from the marketing pics is the curve of the working end. While not flat at any point, it is not a circular curve like a normal spoon either. It’s more of an elongated curve (pics). I figured this would work well with my new, non-stick wok. Although it does not match the curve of the wok, it should do nicely between the flat bottom and the bowl-like sides.First I cooked fried rice. It moved the rice around very well like a spatula, and also scooped and flipped the rice like a spoon. Next was the teriyaki chicken and again it worked well as a combination spatula and spoon. Last were the veggies with the same results. I never worried about the wood edges damaging the Teflon surface and the spoon wiped clean. I look forward to using this Spoonula… Spatoon… LOL… more often.

Useful + lovely
This utensil acts as a spatula as well as a spoon/ scoop — and it doesn’t scratch non-stick surfaces. A win- win.
