Super strong magnets, exactly as promised. Very useful.
If you've never handled neodymium magnets, here's your warning: They are absurdly powerful as compared to the old-school black magnets and magnetic tape. I would say about 50x as powerful. The only downside is they can snap together quite violently, and that you need to take some care when handling multiple of them so that they don't literally fly into each other, or into magnetic objects that can be damaged. The magnets themselves are as described. Extremely strong 60mm x 10mm x 3mm in shape. Very useful for mounting thin-ish things to steel: place one magnet on the surface, place the item you wish to mount, then place another magnet on the item (so it snaps to the magnet behind it).

Excellent, Strong Magnets — Just What I Needed
These rare-earth magnets are impressively strong and hold well—exactly what I needed for my project. A key tip: keep the included spacers between the magnets until you're ready to use them again—these things are powerful and can snap together hard! I opted not to use the adhesive strips, but the magnetic strength alone makes this pack a solid value. Highly recommend if you need dependable, heavy-duty magnets for craft or utility use.

Very strong magnet. Adhesive strips not strong enough
Magnets are very strong and work well. Needed a narrow super strong one to suspend an A/C vent diverter from a ceiling vent. The adhesive that comes with the magnets is not strong enough and separates from the magnet and plastic. Had to go purchase a different crazy strong adhesive tape that works much better (hence the 1 star subtraction).

Strong! Really strong!
These were perfect for securing removable aluminum panels to a computer case I'm building. I applied a 1/2" wide strip of thin spring steel to the perimeter of the panels. The magnets got applied to the inside of the flanges of the aluminum frame so that they had to attract the steel on the panels though the thickness of the aluminum (1/16" to 1/8") and the adhesive strips (another 1/16") that came with the magnets. Despite all the material the magnets had to go through to attract the steel strips on the aluminum panels, they were easily able to do the job. They were a bear for my old arthritic hands to separate from the stack they come in. I found sliding the magnet I was removing lengthwise using a piece of aluminum I could grip was the best way to get them apart. Still, my hands hurt afterwards. I also had to be sure to keep them several inches away from steel and the rest of the magnets. This isn't a complaint—the magnets are supposed to attract that strongly—but is more of a heads up to be careful with them. The one complaint I do have is why did they supply white mounting strips with black magnets? Seriously? I used a black marking pen to blacken the white edges of the mounting strips after applying them to the magnets.

My application was holding up a latch-broken AC/Heater filter housing
I found that one of my latches had failed, causing the 20"/30" ceiling mount filter door to sag, and noticed another worn down considerably. I found a YouTube video describing how one man repaired his door latch using these Neodymium magnets. I tried this out, but could not get the two surfaces to close completely. I rewatched the video and found he used 5mm thick magnets, while these are 3mm thick. My workaround was to double them up (one on top of another), giving me probably 7mm thickness between the door and the top of the magnets. I used this double configuration on the short edge (where the breakage occurred), and two more on the non-hinge long edge, spaced in thirds (one at the 1/3 area, the other at the 2/3 area). By doing this, I was able to get the door to close together and hold without the latches being engaged. For safety I went ahead and latched them when I was satisfied with the repair. For transparency, I also bought these type of magnets in a round configuration, with a countersunk hole in the center. Using a 1" screw, a 3/8" rubber spacer, two washers, and a white porcelain knob handle, I was able to create two more magnetic attachment points, one in each non-hinge side corner. This configuration creates a door attachment system that doesn't put too much magnetic pull (so you can't open the door), and the knobs ensure I can change filters easily and safely. Finally, these are powerful magnets that are also fragile (although I didn't break mine). To separate them without damaging, follow the instructions to turn them, then slide them off. It is much easier this way. Also, the adhesive seems to stick well to these magnets and metal surfaces, but clean those surfaces well, and do your best to avoid touching the sticky part for the best adhesion. I will update this review if anything changes, but for now I am happy to not have to replace the whole door for lack of a couple of 5 five cent latches.

ok, not great
They are strong. That's where the positives end. If you drop it it shatters into pieces and are super sharp after that . The tape does not hold longer than 24 hours. They are super hard to get apart. I wanted a little longer but this was the biggest i could find. I only have 4 that aren't broken since the tape failed and they fell.

This product (16 pieces) is strongly magnetic but one piece is broken. I don't think it is because of delivery but the seller wrapped the broken one before delivery.
