You can make as much coffee as you want, based on the amount of coffee you want. If you only want 1-4 cups, then you would only fill the coffee pot with that much water into the water reservoir.

Your looking for the country it was manufactured in? It was made in China. Probably not the answer you were looking for.. my 20 year old Braun coffee maker was made in Europe, unfortunately it started leaking..

Why does it make a clicking sound after coffee has been brewed

This is our second of this coffee maker. I've noticed this clicking sound occasionally and thought nothing of it. Really good product in our opinion.
