Urban Platter Roasted Unsalted Peanuts, 1kg (Skin Removed | Vacuum Packed | Product of Bharuch)

Good quality peanuts, 1 kg pack has two 500 gm individual airtight packets inside. But there is a slight different smell in it maybe due to packing or storage.

These peanuts are very good: fresh, nicely salted, crisply salted and entirely clean of skin. The perfect snack to offer guests.So why four stars and not five?It's the lack of skins I'm afraid. Or maybe they're processed differently when they're skin-free. But the net result is a subtly different flavour and texture compared to the roasted and salted peanuts you get with skins on.Maybe I've lived in India too long, but I prefer the taste of the latter. If you prefer this style of peanut, however, you're sure to rate it a five star product.

Unsalted roasted peanut of good quality.

I pigged out on these as soon as they arrived and within a few hours started feeling sick. I got weak and nauseous wonderingy what could have happened. The next day I came back to eating these nuts and noticed they were tasting funny, similar to dirt with a grimy sensation. The insides of each peanut was full of black mold!It appears that they were washed off because the outside of the nuts are mostly mold free but you can see just inside the crevice of each one black mold is growing. You don’t really see it until you split it open. After doing some research I found out this mold produces aflatoxins which is extremely dangerous to humans! It causes cancer, miscarriage, and organ failure! They won’t even take a return of this product.I ordered urban platter peanuts because I’ve enjoyed the quality of their products in the past but these peanuts are extremely dangerous and have obviously been washed in an attempt to save the product after the mold grew putting their customer’s lives at risk.DO NOT BUY

I bought 2kg of urben platter peanut.First 1 kg was of very good quality. The second pack the quality is below average. Difference is first pack is fresh and crunchy with adequate salt.In the second pack all these are missing.

Being roasted and unsalted , they are good for health. Also Being unsalted, you can't just keep eating. Roasted gives a nice crunchy feeling. Have them with chana ...great combination.

It is very good for snacks, and very cleaned.
