Amazing bag, utilizes space well!
Sturdy bag, made well. There are a lot of pockets and straps. What I carry inside my bag, Nikon D7500 with Telephoto 18-300 lens. Nikon Coolpix P900, other lenses, batteries, battery chargers, etc... This bag holds it all. Inside camera compartment is completely customizable. Another compartment holds my 17" laptop, cord, mouse etc.. While you can put Everything in the bag, it will be Very Heavy! Thank goodness for the wheels! The wheels are as smooth as glass...Pros: has wheels or carry as a backpack. Many compartments, holds all camera gear, will hold tripod. Protective padding.Cons: gets heavyThis bag replaced 2 camera bags of mine (both were Lowpro, different models)I'd buy this bag again, absolutely love it!

Terrific case
My Lowepro 350 Fast Pack was out of room and I needed more room for my growing collection of lenses, close up bellows, focusing rail, flash, filters, photo jacket, etc., etc. The Pro Trekker looked nice but just too heavy to carry around and quite an expensive bag, too. I came upon this bag, read the reviews and thought, for 150 dollars, what can I lose? (aside from 150 dollars). A lovely surprise. Very well constructed, thoughtful little touches throughout the bag, multiple pockets, interesting layers of clam shell dividers and a convenient wheelie trolley (removable) besides. Maybe the fabric weave is not as dense as the Lowepro, but it seems great to me, and with a weather cover, tripod pouch, extra loops, I am a contented customer. Just two suggestions: the prop foot on the Lowepro looks really nice. You can save the back of your bag from encounters with the dirty soil while having an almost horizontal bag (with its easier access) and the screw thingie on top of the handle to use the bag as a quick and dirty tripod is also neat. But the Lowepro is twice the price. All in all the Ape Case is a great bag. I'm very glad I bought it and would recommend it to anyone with lots of gear.FOLLOW UP REVIEW: Case still a pleasure to use. Just one complaint. The fold out pocket (pouch, really) to hold the tripod feet is attached to the case by single line stitching. It is separating out from the case after only light use. Very touch fabric makes it hard to restitch by hand, so I just fold the pouch back into the side slot and use the slot to insert one foot of the tripod, and that works just great.

Finally a pack designed for a camera and big lenses!
I have bought so many camera cases I could open my own store! But never again! This bag is great! I have multiple, big, expensive lenses! The bag is totally adjustable, so I can arrange all of them in to fit my needs. Because of the adjustability of the interior I no longer have to worry about the lenses banging each other!. I really like the fact that it is padded and the double zippered compartments protect my equipment from dust! Plus there are multiple compartments so I can stay organized and carry items other than my camera. It is not as heavy as I expected, we hike a lot and the lenses and camera body alone weigh a lot. I don't need the bag to add more! I can carry my water in the outer most pockets and not worry about leakage. The bright yellow interior is great, helps you find things in a hurry. I haven't used the handle and to be honest probably won't. I needed a pack. The harness distributes the weight nicely so when going up steep terrain it stays put, even though I am quite busty! Even with the lenses I have there is room to grow, if I find another lens I can't live without! The only problem I can foresee-access to the camera is not fast, by the time you get it off your back, unzip two sets of zippers and pull the camera out. So when I am expecting to shoot animals I carry the camera, as long as the terrain isn't too rough. This is the only draw back and it is worth it to protect thousands of dollars from dust! This is not a cheap case, good heavy zippers, nice fabric and heavy padding. The rain flap is easily stored when not needed! I am a happy photographer, no longer do I have to make a judgement call on which lens I will carry, (I always guessed wrong! And missed a great shot!)

This bag rocks
Upon initial inspection, I was impressed with this bags heavy duty construction and quality of manufacturing, It is obvious that this unit was designed by someone who had travelled extensively with precious cargo previously and had suffered at the hands of low paid baggage handlers, Bell boys who had been stiffed on their previous tip, or just the rigors of forcing ten pounds of stuff into a five pound space in the belly compartment of a bus. The protection this bag provides is astounding in its multi layer technology and generous movable padding compartments. Its ease of use and capability of fitting into almost ANY aircraft overhead bin, even when overstuffed is tremendous. I travel with a LARGE 17" gaming laptop, (this thing is huge), fits a little snugly but the zippers close and no harm in transportation due to the adequate padding surrounding the zipper guards. Well worth the price for maximum protection for your camera, laptop and other delicate goodies.

Great design for travel
This ape case is everything a traveler-photographer needs. It is well designed, sturdy, and has a variety of moveable size velcro sections for equipment. The inner pack can also be removed for easier storage in as carry on baggage. The wheels ar sturdy and a great addition to an already roomy pack with plenty of pockets.
