Best multitool out there. Period.
Any serious hobbyist would agree with the fact that this is one of the best pocket multitool out there. I ordered the black oxide coated surge. This specific surge needs to be washed with a brush and soap to get rid of the excess black oxide. Your hands will get messy if you dont do that. Then wash it down with some WD-40 to get rid of all the water from the joints. Apply some grease, but that is optional. The interchangeable blades are awesome. Also, it has got some weight to it which i really like to be honest. Rest assured this Leatherman surge is a beast and you cannot possibly go wrong with it.

Leatherman is just the best in class. And Surge is among the best in Leatherman.
This is my 3rd Leatherman. I just love the quality of their tools. They tend to be a bit more expensive than others but man are they worth it. The way I see them is they're tools that you can use for an extremely long time. Surge +Full size multitool +Lots of useful tools +Amazing quality +Molle sheath included screams quality and can be mounted on a belt -Expensive -Molle sheath included should have a pocket for Leatherman Bit Kit and Driver extension. I recommend buying the Leatherman Bit Kit and Driver Extension with it to make it a complete DIY tool set.
