Extremely useful if you love the nature and deeply desire to make an acquaintance with all those life forms in the guise of beautiful herbs, shrubs and creepers you come across outdoor! 240 clear images with their concise and handy introduction in very easy words! I especially thank to the writer Issac Kehimkar sir!

Its a nice coffee table book, which includes classification and segregation of flowers. Good photographs by author.Could have included many common flowers too.But its a nice book overall.

Nice try to list out wild flowers, a really difficult task. I belong to NE India where the diversity is very high. It does not cover all the wild flower species of here. But still it is very useful to me.

We envy that BNHS is not in Kolkata. They have some great books on biodiversity of western ghats and penibsular India. This is one of them. Please come up with volumes in this particular field having a detailed coverage on Gangetic plain and Chotanagpur pleatau. Thumbs up for the future.

A lovely book. It is obvious that a lot of effort and care has gone into it. Very informative and easy to use; with alternating pages of description and pictures.
