Excellent Persimmon soap, even a bag to dry
Love this soap! The smell sometimes associated with older people is caused by a natural compound called 2-nonenal, which is produced when fats on the skin oxidize. This process happens because the skin produces fewer natural antioxidants as people age, allowing these fats to break down and create the musty, grassy, or greasy scent. Persimmon cleans that🎉

It's nice
Not too bad. Very gentle. Reminds me of the soap we used in the Army in the 1960's no odor clean smell really great suds . Bar does not last long but nice on the skin. Reminds me of vegetable soap, but it's nice.

Great everyday shower soap.
Fresh mild citrus-like scent. No artificial odor. My skin feels soft and clean after using. I also slip the soap in the included mesh bag and leave it hanging in the shower. I use the bar in the bag for a soft exfoliating and foamy scrub. This is my go to soap now.

Yuck smell
While I do think it works for nonenal smells, I couldn’t get past the scent of this soap. Smelled musty, sour fruit? I couldn’t place scent, it was just yuck. I couldn’t get past the smell so I wouldn’t use it.

Persimmon soap
This item has a nice smell and soaps up well, but it's not a long lasting soap. It gets very soft and doesn't last as long as a French milled soap.
