Try it, you won't be disappointed.
I can't believe in all the years I've been finishing timber, I have only now, at 70 plus tried Osmo Polyx-Oil Hard Wax. It is just an amazing product. Really, really easy to apply, honestly, and the result is absolutely terrific. A wee bit expensive, but worth every penny, you won't be disappointed.

Used it previously for tabletop. Ordered again for another project. Little goes a long way.

Great finish!
Sanded meticulously a coffee table that had previously been poorly lacquered. Applied three coats of this over several days, allowing each coat to soak in and dry gradually. Application with a cloth gave best results for me

Goes a very long way if applied with cloth
Wasn't sure to use yacht varnish or Osmo - varnish likely better outdoors and for very hard non-absorbent wood. Osmo made an ugly 1965 Ercol Windsor sideboard looks fantastic, better than when new, with no dye or stain. Even the clear darkens the wood, more than Ronseal yacht varnish, but with an attractive 'natural' shade.

I love OSMO!
I like how thin and easy to apply it is and I also like the visual results when finished. I bought it on a recommendation of a friend who is a bit of a "wood man" to apply to and oak table I have made. I have not been disappointed it looks fantastic. As for durability and water resistance I cannot say yet. I have left unrated

The smell is super chemical. Be careful, if a drop falls on your clothes, it’s gone then. Difficult to remove it from any surface. Would not buy again. Considering a very high price, it’s too difficult to use.

Does what it says on the tin - which is rare these days 👍🏻
