Love Looks Pretty on You (Lang Leav)

Lang Leav's work is always amazing and I've been following her work for several years now. As usual, this was a thought-provoking, relating, lovely collection of poetry that I deeply enjoyed reading and know that I'll be coming back to often in the years to come.

Lang Leav is one of my favorite poets of all time. She has written many books, this one being the latest. I have to say, she has outdone herself again! Her style of writing is so unique and addicting, you feel like you’re connecting to the universe through her poetry. I definitely recommend buying it, as your first time reading her poetry or even your millionth time.

I loved how easy this book was to read. I’ve been looking for something that touched me on so many levels. I loved the authors way with words.

Pieces in this book speak of how we feel when we couldn't get the words right. It is absolutely lovely

I’m afraid that Lang Leav start sounding more like the newer poet writer who just write normal stuff and put random spacing Some of it still beautiful as always, some of it just too modern poet to me (random relatable words with random spacing)

the book was printed incorrectly however the publisher sent a new book after i had feedback to them do check the books great service by the publisher and Lang Leav as well

I’d like to first off by saying I’ve been reading Lang Leav’s work for a few years now and the moment I picked up,”Love & Misadventures” I fell COMPLETELY in love with all of her words. I’ve read and own all of Leav’s work. I would notice by each book her work had gotten better & better and I could relate to her words more as I kept reading. I was really anticipating the release of this new poetry book and when I got it, I read it all in one night. But I didn’t feel as captivated by her work as I normally did in the past. I don’t know if it was because it was such a big anticipation about receiving it or what, but I was actually kind of disappointed in this collection of poems. I think she has put out much better work in the past. I will still continue to support Leav and her work, but I just think that if it were to be your first time reading her work, I would go with one of her older books.

Addictively comforting

Really nice poetry. Nothing too deep, a little corny and repetitive but overall really enjoyable.

I am totally totally in love with the writing of this girl . More love and power to you. :)
