Writes beautifully. One of the best black inks I've ever used in my fountain pen.

I started out by purchasing only 1 box - a pity it arrived with 2 of the cartridges already popped open, leaving a mess of blue ink on both ends of the box, inside the box, on the cartridges, etc. At first I wanted to "return it" but at these prices, never mind. One of the cartridges that popped open had 50% ink left in the barrel, and the other had about a third left. The ink itself worked nicely. It has a beautiful tint, flows smoothly, and I can reuse the cartridges because some of the converters were "dubious" in quality. For the future, I would suggest buying more of them, so that packed together they will be sturdier. Or buy the type of Pelican cartridge that comes in a tin box.

Have been using this for years in fountain pen. Have used other colors but those cartridges are smaller and don't last as long. Can't say for sure exactly how long each cartridge lasts. Use to write letters and journal entries. So not an every day pen cartridge. But re-order infrequently because they last so long. And the ink flows smoothly from the tip of your pen. If have good penmanship can write just like days of old. Wish kept up that penmanship learned. Perfect for any fountain pen that fits this style cartridge. Highly recommend.

Cartridges fit waterman and several other fountain pens. Most business supply stores do no carry cartridges,especially in blue.

The color is pleasant to look at. Ink does not bleed all over the page. This ink cartridge does what it’s supposed to do. It is the best it can be. I don’t think manufacturer can do anything to improve it. No complaints from me.

I have used this ink before in different colours and always been pleased. I would like more colours but they do have a good choice. Item arrives on time and well packed.
