Great look, not sound.
Not good for sound, but great for a prop.

This is NOT a musical instrument
The first of these, um, things was cracked from end to end. It is made of flimsy wood, possibly bamboo, but it is unclear what sort of wood this is. The second one arrived undamaged but it made no sound at all. Not even a whistle. I tried to play it vertically and horizontally. No sound. This thing is worthless except as a decoration.

1st Broken. 2nd ok.
This item arrived broken. It is very cheaply made and so thin. It's as durable as an eggshell. Update: I got a replacement. It was much better quality. My 9 year old is able to play songs on it. It works

Yes, I did purchase it to play it. No, it did not have all the holes in the right place, so some notes were in tune and some notes were not. Yes, they allowed me to return it for a full refund. Amazon might not replace the joy of trying on a pair of shoes, or the chance to hear a musical instrument being tested.

Would give this zero stars if I could. It is just a piece of bamboo with some holes drilled in it. It is not carved and cannot actually produce any sound.
