Did not work for me at all. Money well wasted.

i want to say this product difficult and Expensivedon't buy itthere is many choices better then this microscope

The directions were simple, and I was able to see the changes in the patterns in my saliva. Having six slides so I could save a few days for comparison was nice. Combines with tracking my temp, this is working well for me. And it's much less expensive than using urine tests every couple of days.

I was really suspect buying this product after reading some of the negative reviews where they had difficulty seeing anything under the microscope/light. I didn't get my hopes up but I did read the package insert and it says to get to know your own saliva so I practiced a few times (4X) with different amounts of saliva and I also played with the zoom. There is no doubt that looking into the light is hard on the eyes but-- I did finally on my last slide see FERNING like crazy! I'm on Day 12 in my cycle and I'm super irregular. This morning I noticed eggwhite CM so I knew there should be some ferning and kept at it. My last slide I put a lot of saliva on the slide and let it dry. I actually had to play with the zoom a bit AND move the slide around a tiny bit each direction until all the sudden I saw crazy ferning. my saliva must have been thicker on one part of the slide. Anyway, it works! I'm so relieved. My advice is to not get frustrated too easily and keep at it practicing. We are trying for a girl this time so I'm hoping to get to know my body better in knowing what my slides will look like 4-5 days before peak ferning. Keeping our fingers crossed! :)

Worked well for about 5 minutes then light burned out. No replacement for them. They immediately sent me a new one which was awesome but after a week or so the same thing happened. I replaced batteries and nothing.... they did refund my money though.

Unlike the previous reveiwer who never used this, I had a chance to. The scope is very spotty, so when you put the saliva slide through, you just see the original spots from the microscope, it does not even matter how much or how little saliva you put onto the tray, or even if you move the tray around. There is no way to clean the microscpe as I tried to. Infact you can see the saliva tray better than putting the tray into the scope. And by the way the comapny might as well be non existant as there is no customer service, no phone # to call, and they do not answer emails. They simply just do not care!

I was surprised at how beautifully packaged this product is and how informative. It gives a future mother the chance to understand her body chemistry and does not require strips and a return location as in geneaological or DNA testing. It arrives with six protective slides and a microscope with batteries installed for the light. The directions call for morning tests and drying upon the slide for ten minutes before you begin your analysis. The slides are reusable and washable and the instruction booklet reads like a 1970s throwback, but is carefully written. It is very exciting.
