Great for bathroom privacy
I used this on my bathroom window and it works perfectly. It lets the light in but gives complete privacy from outside. Easy to install and looks nice once applied. Simple and affordable solution. Highly recommend.

Easy Peezy two install
This was so cool and very easy to do. I kind of messed up when cutting off the extra to fit it seamlessly on the .. that was definitely my fault and next time I’ll do better. The instructions were very easy to understand. It came with everything you needed and I just had to do this little window, but I still have more left over for $6.99. That’s a great deal.!! I’ll definitely be purchasing again!

Pretty good! Be mindful that this is a STATIC cling product, meaning that there is no adhesive on the backing. This makes application and removal easy. I at first thought that the film was too thick but I did not read the instructions that tell you to take off the clear backing so that the thin film can stay on the window. It performed exactly as advertised, and gives you all the tools you need for application. I really like how it still allows lots of light to come through but also makes me feel secure in my bathroom. Looks great in the day but if you leave any bubbles they will show up at night. They are practically invisible during the day.

Great for privacy
I bought this film for my garage windows and my bathroom window. It was easy to install and it adheres to the window very well. It looks really good and I cannot see in or out of the window.

It's too see-through for my liking
In general- I really like it, but I wish it was going to block the window more from the outside. Transparency & color-- if you're looking from the outside of the door to the inside at night with the lights on inside, you can still see more then I hoped people could. I wanted it to block the room completely but also let light through. It's pretty transparent though. There is this rainbow like iridescent look to it depending on the angle you're looking at it. So that's pretty, but I don't like that you can see through it if you try at all. I don't get a ton of sunlight against the door that I put it on, so I don't get the rainbow glare that other people have shown on here. Application- It was very easy to put up and get it to stick. I cleaned the window with Windex as I didn't see the directions, spray bottle, or squgee that were inside the tube. So I measured the window and then cut the film appropriately. By the time I had cut it all, I realized that all of the items to put it up were actually inside of the tube because they fell out while I was cutting. But I just used a regular spray bottle filled with water that I would use to spray my plants with after I cleaned the window. I found that the more water I used the easier it was to get it to stick. Then I use the squeegee thing to push all the bubbles out. There were only a couple of tiny areas that it didn't stick very well and I think that's because there was paint on the glass versus just glass. The only thing that was a bit difficult was taking it off of its backing. It says that once you have it cut to the right size that you can put a piece of Scotch tape on both sides and then use the tape to pull the backing off. I had to use "extra sticky" Scotch tape to do it. Otherwise the tape kept coming off without separating each side. But once the backing was off and the water was on the window it was very easy to get it to stick. Photos-- You can see in the pics of the door that I only finished half way what the transparency is like. My Halloween decorations are still up & you can clearly see them from inside through the window film. While it does distort what you can see, it doesn't do it enough for my liking. I'm not sure if adding two layers would be possible or helpful. My goal was that I could have my shears up behind this and then not have to have anything else covering my doors but that's not going to work for me on my front door of a first floor apartment. If this were on any other window then my porch door that looks directly into my living room, I would keep it in a heartbeat. But I was looking for something that made it not see-through yet in my living room.

Good buy! Privacy but still a lot of natural light
This is great, perfect for what I wanted. It's a pretty thick vinyl so it won't crease or get bent very easy when you're wrangling with it, and it cuts well with regular scissors. Because it's nice and thick this should be able to be reused quite a bit, if you want to move it to a different window in the future. Nice that it comes with a pretty solid squeegee that you can keep for other uses, and a breakaway box cutter for trimming once it's up. Cut your piece about half an inch longer to help you get the best fit, once you have it on then you'll use the box cutter to quickly trim it in along the edges of your window exactly. I wanted to keep bright light coming through my windows but also to keep the neighbors from seeing in all the time, our houses are incredibly close together. These work perfectly I think, though I'm curious to see if they start to slide off over time as we are in a very dry, arid climate here and these are just held on by wet static friction. But the hard part is cutting to fit, if I have to put them back up every so often that's not a big deal. I don't want to permanently modify the window. I haven't tried to look through them from the outside yet but I think it will give adequate blurring privacy without overly tinting the light, I even used some of my leftover amount to increase the privacy on my front door window. The photos show it to look darker/more contrast than it actually is in real life, it's really very bright and fairly even natural light in the sunshine, with a pretty etched-glass style pattern.
