Springback Binder A4 Portrait 1-150 pages Walnut Blue

Arrived very quickly. I am very pleased with this binder. I have used it to hold all my family tree research. And typed out a page with all the information for each member of the tree on parchment paper. The binder look expensive and very good quality. I was suppressed how many pages it actually holds. And it is brilliant for adding pages, certificates and photographs etc as and when I find or print them out. Unlike a folder with pockets in, you can just slip the new pages etc in at the place you want without having to move everything else up a page. I would definitely order another one of these binders.

Excellent, though they are a little pricey. Great for holding scripts and thick documents.

Clearly I didn't understand what springback meant as when I opened up the very pleasing to look at and touch binder, I was disappointed to see that inside contained not metal rings that 'spring back' to position when closed. It's difficult to slide paper into the binder without damaging them. Maybe there's a technique to it? As I don't see how you can insert one paper at a time... I think you would have to take all paper back out, insert the paper you want, and then reinsert all paper back into the binder (which I would not call it that as when I think binder, I think metal rings inside). Nice to look at and feel, good for a few pieces of paper but I would be concerned about it's ability to keep all papers inside since it's like a giant paperclip (which at £13.99 is REALLY expensive for what you get).

I have purchased three of these binders. They are a really good quality.

My dad uses this to bind a draft copy of a book he is writing.There's no need to use a hole punch, just fully open and 'spring back' the covers to open up the centrefold, insert upto 150 sheets and let go. You can now store and read your printed materials like a large A4 sized hardback book.

Used them before

I was disappointed with this binder. Although the grip mechanism is very good - it holds your pages strong, there is a big issue that made me return the item: closing the binder (simply after reading) makes a really loud noise, so it's not suited for use in quiet areas such as film sets or libraries. The sides are very hard, but it's essentially all made of paper, so I'm not entirely convinced about its durability. It looks pleasing, so it might be okay for storing manuscripts that you don't use very often, for example - they will be held in strongly, and they will look nice. If you want something for to carry scripts, heavy use, silent, etc. then this doesn't seem like the right item.
