ASTRO Bot Rescue Mission - PlayStation VR

I've had this game 2 weeks and the PSVR for about a year and this is already my second favorite PSVR game after Skyrim. I'll show my age and say it's like Super Mario 64 but like 1,000 times better and you're IN THE GAME! If you've played the VR Playroom it's an expansion of the Robot Rescue game but much, much bigger. It's a bit repetitive as I find myself playing the same levels over and over trying to find all of the robots and chameleons but so far it's not getting old for me. The game is challenging but not so hard if your goal is to progress through the story without collecting everything there is to collect. The boss battles are amazing but not incredibly difficult. I still have to do the 5th world and a final boss battle, but so far I've collected all trophies possible at this point. I should be able to finish the game with all trophies. Trophies are all hidden but you can find a list online. With all of the survival-horror games that I've been playing recently, this was a refreshing change of pace. The only downside that I see so far is that I'll probably beat it in less than 3 weeks, and with all of the repetition of doing the levels multiple times I'll probably put this away when I finish it and not play it again for quite a while. Realistically you should be able to finish the game with all accomplishments in 20 hours or so, maybe even less. Still worth the current price tag of $40, in my opinion. A great way to introduce people to VR that haven't experienced it yet. My first experience after setting up my PSVR was playing VR Playroom and Astro Bot Rescue Mission already gives me a sense of nostalgia.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. I'm sure that kids would be much more talented at it than I was, but it was fun, with some courses being a little more challenging than others, and it worked great in VR mode. A game made up of course challenges you have to complete and if you find the little lizard in each course, it opens a challenge stage that is a race against time or lives. We got this a part of the Playstation VR Moss/Astrobot package (Moss was great fun too); but if it hadn't been a part of the package, I'm sure I would have still gotten it because I enjoy puzzle solving and challenge games. A great game if you are trying to avoid the more violent options that are so prevalent in video gaming.

One of the best psvr games in my opinion. I am a 30yo woman and I love this game so does my husband and my 10yo daughter. This game is alot of fun!! I get severe motion sickness on most vr games but not this one. Playstation network offers the demo for free to try out. I definitely recommend trying this game out! That's what convinced me to buy the game and it is so worth it. There are 20 levels and 5 different bosses to battle also 26 additional side missions and it's not overly difficult but yet alot of fun!

This was our first VR game purchase. It’s a fun game for the kids, not too challenging but great for learning the system. Great graphics and a clean game they can relate to.

This game is honestly my game of the year so far. I don't think I've smiled so much or have enjoyed a game in so long. (Yes, I've cursed a few times as well.). I love my Nintendo Switch but Super Mario Odyssey didn't have the same effect on me than this game did. This game is something I would want to go back to after I finish it--and I haven't yet. This is what VR was meant to be. Everything you'd want VR to be about is in this game. MINOR SPOILERS: There's a level where you're swallowed by a whale, and the entire level I had a HUGE smile I haven't had in years with a game. By the end of the level, I realized I experienced something amazing. It was something no other platform could give me. This has truly sold me on VR. I will never forget it.

Nothing against the seller game arrived undamaged. Apprently if you look at an older box or play the demo in the Playroom it says multiplayer 1-4 but the game itself is One Player only. They removed all coop function so just a heads up if you enjoyed the CoOp Demo this isn't what you are hoping it is.

This will be the VR game you will talk about in the same way people talk about the first time they played Mario. Truly an achievement in VR and immersive gaming. My wife doesn’t even play video games and she completed this entire game and asked if a sequel was coming soon. Innovative and immersive, this game has you playing a platformer in a way that you have never done before. Truly a staple moment in vr and for sure PSVR’s best title to date. This is one that will have you smiling behind the VR mask through the entire game. A must own

This is a great game that anyone with PS VR should play. My wife and I had a blast playing this game. The music and environments are so immersive and fun. One if the best looking VR games. All the little bots have tons of personality and character. Definitely a must play I'd say.

awesome game for an 8 year old. he was able to navigate the game and even taught me how to play. very kid friendly, and different games / levels to choose from. first VR game we got and it was perfect to learn the ins and outs of the VR headset.

One of the best PSVR games. Highly recommend!
