Does break, but doesn't clip consistently.
Nice and heavy duty, but clips inexactly about every 4th time. Using for ASL counters, so one corner ends up being wonky. Apparently if you practice enough, you can feel when it is about to do it and squeeze it a few times to get it back on track, but that makes for inefficient clipping. The other, larger 2mm clipper does much better, but that one breaks in under a month. So... pick your poison, I guess.

Caution for counter clippers
Counter clippers: I tested this thing with some old SPI counters, and the results are nice. But absolute max thickness is 1.90mm, and there aren't very many games printed after the turn of the century with counters that thin. If you have a bunch of old games from the '70's, these will work just fine. DNO? Go to town. But I've yet to find anything printed in the last two decades that has counters thin enough to fit this device. Edit - Finally found a game with counters thin enough to fit this clipper. Results were extremely unsatisfactory: mangled edges and irregular corners. Stick with fingernail clippers. They do a much, much, much better job. I considered throwing this thing in the toolbox, just in case I might find a use for it in the future. But then I considered how valuable space in the toolbox is, and threw the clipper in the trash instead.

Great for art projects, etc. DON'T PUT YOUR GAME COUNTERS IN THIS.
It is just too big and bulky for game counters. They will get chewed up and you'll be wondering how to replace them. Just use nail clippers and be careful.
