The NVW-650 Swann system I bought was to replace or old camera Zmod system that worked very well for the past ten years. The Swann system had very poor resolution, this system was connected to a Samsung 4HD tv set to the settings Swann detected when connected. To see if maybe the tv had to high of performance for the system I connected to a pc monitor still very poor resolution. It was very glitchy on playback, unable to make our facial features even close to the cameras range. I upgraded the software on the Access point and cameras this had no effect on the systems performance. The night mode was terrible after the target was clear of the shot the system than displayed poor color enhancing features. It had very poor range for connecting to the cameras the longest distance was approximately 30 feet for one camera to try to correct this I placed all the cameras (4) on our WiFi no difference noted between connecting directly to the Access point or WiFi. The Swann software was very frustrating to use on phone and direct interface to a monitor. We sent the Swann system back and purchased the Eufy pro camera set this so far (1week) it has great resolution very smooth playback great night time mode. So far the Eufy seems to function as advertised I would like to be able to connect to a monitor and the web access is very limited but playback on downloaded clips has very good resolution and can make out facial features for identification. I wouldn’t recommend the Swann system.
