I recommend
I've been using this charger for my MSI Thin15 B12UC for about a month now, and it hasn't given any trouble so far; it works really great! It comes with different attachments so you can match your laptop outlet, and even though this charger is bigger than the original one, it weighs pretty much the same. I highly recommend this product if you're searching for a low-to-middle-price range charger if you're on a budget.

Works great for 20V 9A
Today I learned that I didn't need to buy a new power supply because I could have just got an adapter. lol. Still, price is right and my 20V 9A laptop doesn't notice the slight difference and charges well.

It does the job
I have a MSI GF65 thin laptop with 9th gen intel cpu, and needed an extra charger so I don't have to carry the heavy power brick every day from office to home and back again. I am a backend developer, I use this laptop for office work and run ubuntu linux in it. The compatible laptops in the product specs are very confusing. So I went with only the connector dimensions - 5.5mm x 2.5mm and hoped that it would fit. I am happy to report that it fits perfectly and charges the laptop just like the original charger. This charger has a power indicator, which the original charger from MSI did not have, which is good. It gets a bit warm during use, just like the original charger, so there is nothing to worry. Other thoughts: All laptop manufacturers should be forced to use usb type-c charging. I hope some government mandates it, or the manufacturers apply some sensible product management within their companies. Till then, we don't have a choice but to go through the trouble of finding a second charger like this. Or we should all do the right thing - never buy a laptop ever again that uses a proprietary charger.

Warning!!!! Destroyed the laptop!!!
Do NOT purchase! After just a few weeks of use, it malfunctioned and fried the motherboard of my son’s $1000 laptop. Worst case scenario, computer is now trash. Do NOT buy!!!!!!!!!!
