Used this differently than its intended design. I made raft oars counter balances from them. Previously used steel 4lb mounted on the exterior near the grips. These I was able to install into the shaft and at 5lbs was able to get the weight away from the grips. Both oars took about 30 minutes. Another bonus is the seller got the weights to me in 4 days vice 12 Amazon predicted.

Used it to beat a stuck well pump loose.Did the job.

The product is exactly as described and just what I wanted.Unfortunately the product shipped to me was damaged, either in shipment or before - hard to say.The packing appeared adequate, as far as I could tell.This is a very heavy piece of metal and it's difficult to imagine how it could have been warped or bent in transit. My best guess is that it was a manufacturing defect which the packer failed to notice.UPDATE: Seller was civil and cooperative about the defect. Problem resolved. Would deal with seller again.

Perfect for the clock I was making. Weight is printed on the bottom so it looks quite nice. A little tip - I tried polishing it, it actually made it darker. It was shinier than what I could polish it as it arrived.

Product outstanding. Second time I ordered from them. I will order again. This should have been a five-star review. The issue is how they pack their heavy items. Order took too long to arrive since the box was damaged in USPS shipping. Heavy items in a Flimsy box and little packing material were not strong enough to survive the journey based on USPS handling procedures. This caused a long delay, post office had to find missing items and taped box back up. This delay was long enough for AMAZON to offer me a refund if not delivered by the 29th. Item ordered on 18 Mar, arrived 29 March. This delay made me shift my work production on a Victorian home we are restoring, frustrating. Q/C and package improvement needs to be implemented at the manufacture.

I am using these as weights in my grandfather clock and they work perfectly 😂. About 1/4 the price of clock weights and I think they look nice! Just research the model number on the back of your clock movement and find the correct weights for each.I could spray paint them brass but I am more of a silver person anyway.So glad I thought of this! Take that, capitalism.
