Riceland Natural Long Grain Brown Rice has a wonderfully nutty flavor and firm texture. The rice germ and bran layers are left on each kernel resulting in a natural whole grain product. Ordered, got white ... THEN (see addendum)
The rice I received is white but I had ordered brown. White race does not have the same flavor as brown and I’m being asked to rate brown rice product. Hopefully everyone can understand the 3 stars as a result.Not going to bother the vendor since this is in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and the vendor shows they do not have “brown” rice available at this time. Rice seems to be a huge commodity during this pandemic ... so I will just hang onto what I received. My family eats a lot of rice so that is the reason for keeping. Hopefully anyone else who orders brown rice, gets exactly what they paid for.ADDENDUM 4/23/2020I thought that anyone buying or considering this needs to know a little about this company. You ought to know how wonderful and conscientious they are. I wrote a review earlier (above) and now I am back to expound and correct.I didn’t realize they actually read their reviews. As a result, they sent me an unexpected order containing the correct items!! I called them to see where I could send the money to pay for the product. They refused, citing it was their way of correcting an error. I honestly didn’t care that there was an error considering the circumstances we are in with COVID-19 and was glad to get any rice at all.However, I think everyone needs to know how moral and ethical this company is. We researched the business and discovered they are a co-op and grow the rice here in the USA! 🇺🇸 It cannot get any better than that.The rice (both white and brown) is of great quality and taste. In researching, we also learned they offer MANY TYPES of rice, from regular long grain brown or white rice, to Basmati, Jasmine, sushi and even gold! Check them out, look for them in stores and support them.A new 4ever customer!!

Best rice we've ever eaten!!
The first time my husband and I tried Riceland Rice was when we lived in Memphis, TN. We traveled over to Arkansas to attend an event where they were manufacturing the rice products. The heavenly aroma of their rice permeated the town. This was back in the early '90's, and we've been eating their rice ever since. It just can't be beat!!! YUM!!!

Good Quality, buy some.
Cooks up nicely in my Instant Pot. Also blends well with quinoa, also cooked up together in the Instant Pot. (27 minutes total cook time).

The Rice had maggots in package. The white was OK but we threw it out with the brown just in case.
Used the brown rice for duck food as they love maggots. After 15+ years as a Prime member, this is my first negative review. I would have loved to try the rice.

Great rice & American farmer owned is a BIG PLUS!!!
I'm happy to see this rice available on Amazon, since I can't find it at my local Wal-Mart anymore. It is good-quality & we also like to support American farmers!!!
