I have never even dyed my hair B4 & still found this easy to use. My roommate researchd how to use on YouTube. We took small sections of hair & weaved metal end of a 🐀rat tail (aka pin tail) comb through & released strands from underside. Then coated remaining strands. Coat top & bottom of hair then roll/twist hair to keep strands together. My hair goes to middle of my back & is somewhat thick. I live in Arizona & get hot easily so wear it up a lot; for this reason I highlighted the back area multiple layers down - not just the top layer. My roommate has thick shoulder length hair & we put a lot on her red hair. We still had tons left. She does her hair a lot & said she liked the thick gel consistency because it was easy to work with & didn't drip all over.😷 Because of medical issues I'm pretty sensitive to smells. I wore a face mask & was fine. My roommate mixed the chemicals & let them set about 10 min; she said that would help odor to subside some.🐀 get comb on Amazon or .99 Store, Dollar Tree or Sally's Beauty Supply)I seriously don't like fussing with my hair even for haircuts. It's family & friends 😂 that want to do something with the grey parts of my hair. I like this so much I'd do it again 😃

It’s my second time buying this product in a -one year- break and I really really enjoy it! I uploaded two pictures, the one with long hair is from last year, I used the whole 1 pound pack in 3 months in order to get this very bright tone. Every month I used to give a break, take care of my hair and then light more, until I reached this yellowish tone.The one with short hair is from now. I recently cut my hair and started to miss my highlights, but wanted a more natural style, not the yellowish from last year. So I ordered the 2 oz one and didn’t even use all of it, since I just lighted the front of my hair. I loveeed the results, way more natural from last year since I used less product. I highlighted two times in order to get into this caramel tone.If you are more into “natural” highlights, I think this is the powder! It was a bit hard to reach a lighter tone as last year (I needed to used it more times), but to get into this natural tone as now, it fits perfectly and is is not harmful at all for the hair since is amônia free. If you have very dark brown hair as mine, i advice to bleach it twice giving a one week space to get your natural results. Of course that every lighting powder will naturally dry your hair, but this one has definitely dried less than others. I loved the results.

This was very easy to apply. It is clay based so does not drip or bleed. That being said, it dries out fast (before processing time is up for most) and stops working once it’s dry.

The product works fine but it's supposed to be 3.00$ per once. this is just one once and costs 6.00$.

Will turn your hair orange and even with a toner, it's difficult to get a blond that last more than a day.It doesn't lighten a lot even after keeping the product 50 min on my hair.For men : Do almost nothing to beard.

Product is fine, but I thought I was getting a larger package...because that's what the post says.

I followed the directions to a tee, checking every 5 minutes. At the end of the very max time, 50min, there was no difference between my untreated hair and the hair I used this on.

Watch your sizing because this is very small. I have used bleaching powder very often in the past and even with 30 volume developer and even after leaving it on 20 to 30 minutes, I didn’t find that it bleached very well.

There is very little product here. I can’t even really say if it worked or not because there wasn’t enough 🤷🏼‍♀️

Tried this on my medium brown hair and it barely lifted it, maybe one level and I left it on 40 -45 mins . It doesn’t work!

This lightener did not work great for me. I have used other ones that were just better for lightening dark hair.
