Winco Dial Refrigerator/Freezer Thermometer with Hook and Panel Base, 2-Inch

Nice little fridge thermometer that is easy to read and accurate.

This review is for the Winco 2" Freeze and Refrigerator Thermometer purchased through Amazon.com. We purchased three of these to use in the refrigerators in our church as required by the county health department. They seem to be accurate and are fairly easy to read. Since our refrigerator shelves are glass, they tend to get pushed around by food items items. We will most likely use some mounting tape to stick them to the back or side wall instead. They are a good product at a very reasonable price.

Now I know why my ice cream has been unscoopable. Freezer was 20 below zero. Now I can monitor the temperature with this guy in my fridge and freezer and adjust them to the correct temperatures. 0° for the freezer and 40° for the fridge, in Fahrenheit of course.

I have had this thermometer sitting in the fridge overnight and the readings it provide are significantly off compared to the laser thermometer and other analog unit that I have. The design of the shape is great. You can set it on it hang it from a shelf. I plan on testing to see if the miscalibration is linear, and if so I’ll keep it. But if it’s off in that way also I will be returning (if possible).

works as it should, it's the first one I have had so I don't know if the glass is supposed to keep fogging up in the freezer or not but it's not a big issue for me. All in all I am pleased with it and will probably get another for the refrigerator.

Good product at a good price, and was shipped promptly for a "no drama" transaction. I trust that the NSF stamp of approval means it's accurate, but how would I ever know for sure? Assuming it's accurate, it did the job for me.

A great buy for those of you who want to double check the freezer temps to be sure they match what you set. My freezer has a door temp set but I wanted this to be sure I was getting the temp I set.
