Astatic is always known for quality sound. It sounds so good I know guys that ditch base station mics and use these instead. Definitely makes you louder over other noise cancelling mics

had it a couple months and it works great, i don't care for the long cord but a soldering gun fixed that. This mic is deffinetly one of the better ones offered by Astatic. The Road devil mic is junk, don't waste your money.

I've been trucking for about five years now, and have used several different types of radios and mic's, some cheap, some expensive. This is a good one, I've had it in the truck for about two weeks now, using it every day, and the guys I run with say it sounds great. I'm very pleased so far, I'd recommend it to other drivers.

Works great on my stryker radio, other drivers say it's very clear and i get out a lot farther. i also let a friend hook it up to his Cobra to see if it would help his radio, we couldn't believe the improvement, he now has one 2.
