It really does a good job on leather that is worn, I had great results on a designer purse I was selling it originally looked terrible, but I saved it and got it sold!

Used this to restore and repaint an old leather loveseat we had. It’s easy to apply whether you use a sponge or brush applicator. Kit comes with everything you need to repair small fixes to large repairs too. I bought two kits and was able to do three coats on the entire love seat including painting over filler and layering to hide any cracks and gaps. The finish of the paint is particularly nice as I was worried about the typical shiny black finish you can get with leather paints.

To begin, you get a LOT of product in this tub. I got this mainly to fix up a pair of old shoes, and I really only needed to use what was stuck to the underside of the safety seal. A few things to note: - The listing claims this is for vinyl and leather, but the instructions advise doing an absorbency test to ensure your leather is able to take in the effectively. Luckily, my shoes passed the absorbency test (i.e., place a water drop on the area you want to treat and see if the liquid soaks in). However, I'm not sure how effective that would be on plastic vinyl... - This dries to a matte finish. The instructions do suggest following up with a leather hydrator or seal of some sort. I happened to have some leather hydrating lotion from a maintenance kit I had from an old leather jacket. It seemed to help give my shoes a bit more of a sheen. It was nowhere near the supple look of the shoes when I originally bought them, but the overall results were good and give my shoes a cleaner look. - This can get messy. The kit includes a pair of gloves and an assortment of applicators for different projects. That being said, the gloves are ridiculously large. I found them cumbersome and wound up using my own disposable nitrile gloves. I also highly recommend laying out plastic to protect your work surface/area. Overall, not bad. I do have a new leather couch, but there are no spots that need fixing on that yet. For anyone wondering about colour transfer, I did use a white paper towel to wipe my shoe an hour or so after application, and I could see no colour transfer. That being said, I only did 2 thin layers of application on my shoes. All in all, this worked well enough for my shoes.

I’m satisfied with this product. The colour was a perfect match for my leather couch, and it effectively covered the scratches. The repair is barely visible, which is exactly what I was looking for. Overall, it works wonderfully.
