I have a couple of smaller Levoit air purifiers in my house. A few days before Prime day I saw a deal on another less expensive brand. Well that got me researching air purifiers. The Alen 75i was for sure towards the top of the list. I made my top pick for its long warranty, incredible energy efficiency, and large coverage area. Who could argue with a maximum 45 watts to clean 1300sqft? I don’t have too guilty about running the unit 24/7. Let me thank a past reviewer who recommended the GoSund plug. Now I can monitor 2.5ppm levels and control all of the Alen’s features from my IPad. To either my happiness or my shigrin the Alen I bought went $150 off for Prime day. So I bought a second intending to return the first as it had not even arrived yet. Well to make a long story short I have kept both. I’m looking forward to a smoke free house this winter with the oven and woodstove going. It is a large purchase to be sure, but one I do not regret. Amazingly quiet as well. One thing for the people at Alen- get your subscription filter service online and keep them in stock. Thanks.

I purchased this product with the pet odor filter for 1st floor of my house. we have a greyhound and he causes odor sometimes. when I turned it on first time, it started from red light and gradually moved to blue over 30 minutes. It is pretty silent and its performance is consistent so far. it is little bit expensive, but I am happy to have it. the design and its customized front shield look really good in my living room. The only thing is I am not so sure how effective it is to remove pet odor...He has not caused any major odor since we purchased. Otherwise, it was successful!

My husband went back and forth on this! He loved it and wanted to stay with it. However, the slim design on the front side was very appealing but the it's my fault for not looking at the bulkiness on the back end. So we will invest in probably 2 of the 45i. Very appealing to the eye if this will be straight against the wall. The way we have our house decorated it would have to be out in the middle of the floor and it just bothers me. Lol I've checked several reviews on several and by far I would say this is the best on the market.

I have only used mine for 2 days, but I like how it performs. I got it before it was supposed to arrive. So far, I'm getting used to it but what's really good is that there is hardly any noise. I already noticed that the air in the room is much better. I would recommend Alen highly.

We have a very large open basement which is finished. We keep two litter boxes down stairs and The storage spaces still retained a mildewy smell. This in turn gave the basement a not bad, but still unpleasant smell. Two days after running the purifier the basement is completely smell free. We were a little nervous about price as we have used filters in the same price range with lesser results, but after the difference it has made I would have paid more. Some people complained about a chemical smell from the filter which was noticeable the first day. But as with any new product there are bound to be smells you are not familiar with. Let the purifier run on turbo for couple days and you will be amazed. Also they offer an auto-ship for your filters which is a great feature. We dont spend as much time down stairs and with how quiet the machine is I often forget we have it, so no need to continually check if filter is still good. Just replace when it arrives and good for another year. As I said we have owned other filters in the same price range before, this is by far the best option for your money.

This unit is very quiet and seems to be working well at cleaning the air in our open living room/dining room/kitchen. We'll see.
