China Gel Topical Pain Reliever 8 oz Jar, Each : desertcart.in: Health & Personal Care Review: Really helps my husband's neck arthritic pain and we had tried multiple other pain relievers, both pills and ointments. Review: The title tells the tale of this product. I ordered it for myself because I suffer from arthritis (not RA -- just run-of-the-mill arthritis), but cannot treat it with anti-inflammatories, meds and most other topical treatments (including Voltarin). I even tried Blue Emu -- which is similar to this -- but not quite the same. When I first tried the product, my husband commented that the aroma "burned his eyes" -- I know that sounds weird, but I don't know how else to describe it. It's has a strong smell and the fumes can affect people with sensitive eyes. Having said that, the addition of the "lavender" scent really makes the strong fumes more pleasant! Anyway, because this is made with aloe vera, it feels a little sticky going on -- BUT -- it dries pretty fast and the stickiness goes away. It's actually pretty moisturizing, which is nice for something with alcohol in it The initial sensation is cold, following by tingly, and then almost warm. It lasts for quite awhile (especially if you slather it on...which you probably shouldn't do.) Note: I tend to overdo things, so, my motto is "if less is more, imagine how much more, more is." Don't use more. You don't need it. A little does go a long way. Just massage it into the area that hurts -- and don't rub your eyes. Seriously. Then, let the China Gel work its magic. The price might seem like a lot, but when you've tried everything else, $25 and change doesn't cost a fortune, but really is a treasure. Good luck and I hope it works as well for you as it has for my entire family (yes, even my husband -- I just put a towel over it so he doesn't suffer from the smell!)
