Delta Faucet RP32529 Aerator for 2.2 GPM, Chrome

Picked up an aerator from a local hardware store. Paid more for it than this one, and it was problematic from the start. I had to use a bunch of teflon tape to make it not leak, and at 1.5 gpm it was a pathetic dribble. So I bought this one. It fits perfectly. No teflon tape needed, and the stream is again proper at 2.2 gpm. Very pleased. Plus, it has the flat notches on it so you can use a box wrench and not gouge the finish with a pair of channel locks.

Works great, this replacement allows the water to flow while filtering the particles out of the water. Good price for something that is a must have.

I'm kind of laughing about posting this review. Why? Hopefully the condo manager I'm renting from doesn't see it! I moved into a condo a few months ago. Really nice bathrooms in it. Turned the sink on to shave and thought, "that's cute" water is included in the rent so it's obvious the management decided to put these sprayer aerators on the sinks to limit water usage. Yeah, that's not going to work. I went to the local brick and mortar depot store and bought an aerator that said it increases pressure. I put it on and while it did rid me of the cute spray of water I was getting, it was still terribly weak. I've worked in construction and engineering/planning construction for over a decade and knew there were better aerators out there. Finally, found a guy at the other brick and mortar store who told me they were limited on aerators. I see Amazon isn't! This is a great aerator. My main need for the pressure is to shave my head. My hair is thick, it clogs my razor up and a good pressure sink with hot water clears it right out. Very easy install also.

So it's like a micron (maybe a millimeters in reality) too small for my Delta faucet and falls out. However, the plastic aerator fits my old one so I have a working faucet. Not sure it's worth mailing back.

This was the most AMAZING repair EVER...and the EASIEST! Mind blown!! I can't get over how GREAT the WATER FLOW is now! They do work on other faucets than Delta, too! I can now return the 2 new faucets that were waiting to be installed due to the poor water pressure I had with current ones, saving me a whopping $185.00 and a back ache for days!

It was easy to screw on, and it runs aerated water effectively - what more can I ask?
