OxiClean White Revive Laundry Whitener and Stain Remover Powder, 5 lb

A friend recommended that I purchase this Oxi Clean to whiten up a white skort that I like to wear because it was looking a little dingy. She said that this product had worked really well to whiten up her clothes. This was a good price, so I decided to purchase it and give it a try. The packaging is very durable and arrived in good condition.I soaked it in the Oxi Clean before washing it and then threw it in the wash with some detergent. I let the skirt air dry and unfortunately it didn't look any whiter to me. Maybe the material of the skirt wasn't conducive to the whitening products in this Oxi Clean product? I haven't had a chance to try it on any other whites, but do believe my friend when she told me it worked for her.

I have a question, I am not a fan of the smell, can I use scent beads with Oxi?I could not believe how white some were, not all of my towels came out.(I also hung them out in the sun so that helped.) I can't wait to see what they look like after a 2nd wash.My colored towels seemed to be brighter.Don't take my remark about the smell to seriously, some smells just get to me.Would I buy again most differently, I am also thinking of getting one for my sister.

Bought this specifically to wash and revive our white clothes.-add full cup in a home despot bucket filled with hot water. mix well that the powder is completely dissolved.- mix white clothes in and soak overnight.-squeeze water out from clothes and transfer to washing machine.- white clothes should always be set using HOT water. Detergent use was Arm and Hammer w Oxiclean.-Boom! You’ll discover that you’ll have a hard time looking for stain marks that were previously were on the clothes. We had stains from blood, coffee, wine, food, curry etc…odors were also neutralized and whites became BRIGHT whites again!!! Pic shows bucket with water after clothes were soaked overnight.

I love the OxiClean for Whites!!! This was the first time I’ve bought just for whites and I was amazed.It does say you need to soak the white clothes for about 6 hours, I think it said. So, I did and they looked great. We live in the country and have well water, so I really needed help with my white clothes. I usually have to go the laundromat.I’ve only used it once, but I’m hoping it continues to make my whites brighter. :)

The item arrived quickly but the top opened slightly and there was some product in the box. That being said I’m not going to deduct any stars because of how amazing the product is. Now, I am a fan of original oxiclean. We use it with every load of laundry, it’s great stuff.However, I wear white undershirts under my work shirts every single day. After awhile they start to get very dingy. I found this product and decided to give it a try. I soaked my shirts in a bucket overnight as instructed on the label. I then washed them again with a scoop of this stuff and I was amazed when I pulled them out of the washer. My white shirts are bright white and looked brand new. I was blown away by the results. I will be soaking my shirts in this every so often to keep them looking nice. I am a believer!

I like using this as a laundry booster in every load. I think it really helps cut down on residual odors and it seems to make stain removal much better. I also use it to pre-soak some particularly dirty things like rags and shop cloths. Works well. Good at stain removoal. Doesn't seem to bleach out colors. A little goes a long way so the container lasts about 3 months.I would get this from a real store, but the fact that it is offered as a Subscribe and Save is why I get it from Amazon. The cost is almost the same, but now it just shows up when I am getting low without having to think about it.The only downside of this is related to the Subscribe and Save. Amazon will randomly tape the container lid on with some sort of indestructible tape with an adhesive that will not come off at all. I guess they do this to hopefully keep the powder from busting out of the container, but it doesn't really help with that. Delivery drivers are brutal to packages and several times this has arrived damaged. Sometimes taped, sometimes not. I don't think the manufacturer designed the container for shipping and that is the problem.

Accidentally washed my new navy blue sweater in with my white clothes and the whites turned blue , soaked all my white colors and this for 12 hrs and washed them and they were back white

Love this product. I have white sheets and white towels with two boy dogs. I leave things soaking in hot water in the washer and left it wash afterwards. Keep everything super white!
