Love this hot sauce
Especially the green version. I use it constantly. It brings the heat but with a ton a flavor. I have sampled well over 200 hot sauces over the years and I would put this right up there with the best (at least to me). A lot of the hotter sauces (habanero, ghost and scorpion peppers deliver the heat but with little to no flavor or a flavor that is off putting. I have given several bottles away and have received rave reviews and thank yous for turning them on to this brand. I will say while the red is good but the green is absolutely fabulous and the reason for my review. For those who want less heat their green jalapeno version is just as great. It still has a bite but not too much yet has all the flavor. Can't go wrong with either. I really only review a product if it a 5 star and I love it. Like many of you, my mother taught me if I don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Good flavor, medium-high heat for a non-chili eater
The red is just a bit hotter than Tabasco, 5x hotter which isn't much at this Scoville. The green is ~15x hotter. I remember these sauces being 'hot' before I ate hot suave or chili's regularly. If you don't eat hot sauce or spicy food, the red is probably your best bet. If you can take a little heat, then the green is my much preferred flavor. If you eat chili's or hot sauce then you are likely already aware that this isn't as hot as many others, probably not above a 1 or 2/10 for a chili head, or around a 6 or 7/10 for a non-chili head. It's hotter than Buffalo wild wings medium suace, bit not as hot as their hot sauce, which seems to be a known heat level.

I Love El Yucateco sauces!
The Red sauce has just the right touch of sweetness, and the green has that pepper flavor. Both bring serious heat, and a little bit goes a long way. I can run out of Crystals, I can run out of Tabasco, but never El Yucateco!

These will make you sweat
I got a sampler pack of this brand's sauces and loved them so I was happy to find them on amazon. I'm a fan of spicy food and these are great because they pack a punch without being unbearable. I prefer the green but both are great. I use the green for tacos and burritos, the red for chili and soups. The green feels more intense as far as heat level, but the red is also pretty spicy itself. I love these sauces and get mad at myself if I forget to use them on dishes.
