Is it compatible with Steinberg Cubase Pro 12?

It will have some functionality, but the nomenclature may differ (ie what the buttons etc say they will do they may do something different) as it is default designed to work with StudioOne. After all, it is a Presonus product

Will this work with Premiere Pro video editing software?

I've tried AtomSQ with Premiere Pro as MCU and it works perfectly well. So, although I don't have Faderport, chances are it will as well.

Has anyone tried this with Vegas Pro video software. There seem to be drivers in the software which reference this unit but nothing on specs or sites.

As well as native support for Studio One DAW (included), the FaderPort features HUI and MCU (Mackie Control Universal) emulation for use other DAWs etc. We would recommend to check whether the software you are using supports one of these protocols. You can always contact PreSonus or the developer of your software if you need any further help or info.

Will this work with Pro Tools Ultimate 2019?

Yes, this will work with Pro Tools Ultimate. Presonus were careful to make their faderport line of products compatible with most of the DAW's available. Check their website for more information.
