Where do I apply this oil?

On the bottom of your engine is a oil plug . Measure approximately 1 inch from plug . Drill a 5/16 hole . Remove all the oil . Set the new bottle of oil in passenger seat . Buckle it up . CALL AAA then crank your car put in Reverse and Park 4 times . Sing Chitty chitty bang bang twice . Catch 2 butterflies a fire fly & one hard boiled egg . THAT'S IT ! 😉

Hello. Why are the bottle caps not sealed. I ordered 2 bottlez but both came opened. Is it a genuine?

They do not have a foil seal which is understandable. South Main Auto has a youtube video about a engine damaged by a seal. He found a foil seal blocking an oil passage on one side of the engine. However, during shipping 2 of the 6 bottles I ordered leaked. The inner an outer boxes were dripping oil. This is the 2nd time I have had this happen.

Is this product mixable with Pennzoil's older products of the same weight? I would hate to toss a few quarts of brand new Pennzoil Ultra I still have

Yes. And to person that started the 5w20 vs 5w30 question yes you can also mix them. They have viscosity modifiers and emulsifiers I believe is what its called been awhile since looked it up. And with both being 5 winter weight I wouldn't think twice. Just add the total weights and quarts and that's what you'll end up with. EX: 5 qts 5w20 and 1 quart of 5w30 would end up being 5w21.67 so winter weight is equal for both so we can skip that 5x20=100+30=130 130/6 = 21.67 Same brand or api is recommended. The don't mix synthetic oil thing is for true synthetic oil group 4, 5. And even with that its not totally true Mobil 1 and Amsoil both I believe have a small amount 5-20% of group 4 and 5 In their oils, guessing they formulate it to blend with the regular oil fine. Most synthetics are group 3 oils (Pennzoil, Valvoline, Mobil, etc) including the natural gas based Pennzoil platinum its sometimes put into its own class of group 3+, and in reality it beats the true synthetic oils in almost everything btw for car engines. Synthetics from group 4 and 5 generally cant be mixed with oil from group 2 or 3. Think of it like Mineral Oil from R12 system mixed in with pag oil from R134a system the two oils cant mix they become a sludge essentially (big problem during retrofit era) but you know what another group 5 oil was created ester oil to be compatible with the remaining amount of mineral oil in system, its really about making the two oils be compatible and today that's pretty much what you have "wide compatibility". You'll lose some or a lot of the synthetics EX(Pennzoil Platinum synthetic or Valvoline synthetic) benefits if mixed with conventional oil like regular Pennzoil or Valvoline, but it will not destroy your engine. Sorry for super long post everyone always post without full explanation. But anything off the shelf at Walmart would essentially mix to make it long story short.

Cannot beat the value. Whenever I do not want to fork out the cash for more expensive oil, this is what I use. Top tier consumer synthetic oil that has top grades for lubrication, longevity, and cleanliness. Youtube has several videos that demonstrate how good this oil is. Only oils that can compete are amsoil, joe gibbs, and high performance lubricants.

GRヤリスRZHP山道通勤車用リピです。ペンズウルトラプラチナ0W-20を手頃な価格で提供頂けるのはココだけだと思うので助かってます。LAXJPさん有難う御座います。GTLは何となく好きで使ってきましたが、このフィーリングの良さは100℃動粘度の差ではないかと思ってます。動粘度と実際に使ってみた感じは以下(数値はネット情報なので参考、感覚は個人の見解、各々5000km使用)。 shellヘリックスウルトラSP 0W-20(8.0) 吹け上がりはとても早いがトルク感弱くなる気がするトヨタ純正SP 0W-20(8.4) 鉱物油だろうけど一応比較の判断基準としてペンズオイルウルトラプラチナ0W-20(8.8) 純正より少し硬く、ちょうどshell20番と30番の中間で良いとこ取り shellヘリックスウルトラSP 5W-30(9.8) トルク感は増すが吹け上がりが一瞬遅れる様な気がする車種や排気量、使い方(どこをどう走らせるか)で感じ方は変わると思う。保護性能重視だと別の選択になるかも知れないが、個人的に現車ではこのフィーリングは最高。とにかく通勤が楽しい。なので使い続けたい。LAXJPさんこれからも頑張って！

I like to go 10k miles on my oil changes, however, I don't trust many oils to do that without wear even if the manufacturers say you can. this is the best bang for the buck oil for slightly extended changes.
