Maui Moisture Smooth & Repair + Vanilla Bean Conditioner, 13 Ounce

I’ve been using Maui Moisture products for a while, so I wanted to give this conditioner was a try. After one use, I’m in love. For context, my hair is: fine, thick density, highlighted, oily roots/dry ends, and has finicky 2A waves that can get weighed down into being completely straight with the wrong conditioner. It’s also prone to tangling with the wrong conditioner. This conditioner does the job: it detangles my hair like no other conditioner ever has, leaves my hair soft, smooth, and silky, and even helps a bit with some stray frizz. Not only that, but it helps my hair hold a wave for a day or two post-wash, and gives my hair body/bounce. Definitely 2A wave approved! It also smells amazing, like a vanilla cupcake without being too overpowering. The fragrance does disappear after my hair dries, which is a little disappointing but not a huge deal. All in all, if your hair is similar to mine, 10/10 would recommend giving it a try. This stuff is magic!

A lot of elitists in the beauty community really shame people for buying drugstore brand hair products but I ignore them. I’m on a budget and can’t even afford to get a professional hair-cut much less buy a hair stylists products for $60 a bottle. This is the best conditioner I’ve ever used by far. All natural and it shows. My hair has never felt or looked better. I’ve been using Maui Moisture for a few years now and won’t use anything else. I have fine, straight natural colored hair and find that this conditioner helps so much with frizz and gives so much shine and even some volume. The smell is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I get compliments every single time I hug someone and my husband loves it too. No need for me to use after shower products on my hair to help with tangling, I just brush right through, no tugging. The price is a little higher than some other drugstore brands but it’s so worth it. A little bit goes a long way!

Besides the soft, sweet aroma of a hot vanilla bean cup of coffee this Maui shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling refreshed, soft easy to comb and made my curls pop after using once a week for about a month. I have low porosity natural hair and my hair responds well to this brand. The vanilla bean smell is soft and I can smell it faintly after I’ve styled my hair. Will used this shampoo and conditioner again.

I use a bit as a leave-in conditioner. The delicate, nutty scent is absolutely lovely! I have naturally curly (2c-3a) curls and it detangles and conditions them beautifully. (It doesn’t do much for frizz control, but that can be remedied with another product.)

Such an amazing scent. Maui moisture is by far one of my favorite personal care brands. The quality is great for the price!

It smells amazing and the scent lasts a couple days. It conditions great too and makes my hair silky and smooth. I've tried several other Maui Moisture conditioners and liked them all, but this is by far my favorite. I wish it wasn't more expensive that the other scents, but that's my only complaint.

I bought this product because I was going to try the curly hair method PROS: - smells good - healthy ingredients - lathers decently well - cleans scalp well - does not weigh my hair down - does cause my hair to feel more oily or have built up product in it. CONS: - no visual difference in my curly, frizzy hair - the conditioner does not detangle my hair as well as other brands - the amount of product you get for the price is not a good value Overall: This is a good conditioner if you care about the ingredients you are putting in your hair. Did it make my hair grow faster-no. Was there a huge difference in using this versus using drug store dove or herbal essence- no. Did this reduce the rate my hair was falling out- no. Regardless it did clean my hair well, it did condition it. Wish it detangled a little better.
