Biostatistical Analysis 5th By Jerrold H. Zar (International Economy Edition)

The book was brand new as described and delivered on time. It's well worth its price for the ones who have genuine interest in studying biostatistics. If you buy this for a class, keep in mind that this book does not come with any standard tables and you will need to obtain them from other sources.

This book is worth it for sure, the only thing is that it does not have the tables for t tests and p values, but those are easy enough to find online.

This book is priced so much better than it's hardcover US equivalent.. and so far is on par with content and assignment questions at the end of each chapter. The only downside is that the additional charts and tables (such as looking up z-scores!) aren't in this book, which is a little obnoxious.

Students and amateur statisticians beware. This book lacks the tables used in its statistical tests. To compound the usability issues with the book, it doesn't reference the types of tables you'll need in the text of each chapter. It references the appendix location of the table from the version of the book that does have the tables. This can make it difficult to get the information you need. It's a case of not knowing what you don't know. You'll want to supplement many of the types of tests and estimations you would make while designing an experiment with outside materials or programs, like g*power.

This book was advertised as being exactly like the regular version however NOT. The main problem is the lack of stats tables in the book. There are NONE! I ended up having to copy them from my professor's older version of the book. This ended up being a hassle because I will need this book and the stats tables to complete my thesis research. I do not recommend the international version of this book at all. Had I known that it was missing a very important part (the stats tables for a stats class...really people?) I would NEVER have purchased this book. Because of this I will NEVER purchase another international version of any textbook.
