I bought these socks as I work on my feet and as I age (49) I am seeing the beginnings of varicose veins! This prompted me to look after my legs and get something to support them. The socks came in separate packages in one box. I chose 2 colours as I don't always wear black socks so the beige was a good alternative. I wear them under trousers so nobody knows that I am wearing compressions socks but you can feel the support of them which is reassuring. Getting so many in a pack was good - one pair a day with an extra and when the cost is broken down they are good value for money compared to other compression socks which are essentially the same but sell less pairs for more money. Overall they are good comparable compression socks. I will have to wait and see what effect they may have long term but in the short term they are comfortable, good value and although you can feel the compression it is not a horrible tight squeeze but a nice support. getting them on and off was not too difficult either. Obviously, being compression socks they are going to be a little harder to get on as you want that hold but its not as bad as some socks where you can hardly get your foot and leg either in or off! I think it helps that the material is quite thick - but not so thick that you are going to have to change shoes! I got the S/M. I am a size 6 foot (wide) and they fit my calves but I couldn't comment on the fit for either very slim or much wider calves.

Good price for 8 pairs. Help with aching legs. Good as flight socks and sports etc. Not measured or as firm as prescription compression stockings but very useful and well made, should last a while I think.

Bought these socks about 2 years ago and they were a good fit. Bought another pack of 8 recently, supposedly same size (L/XL), but they are bigger and not such a tight fit. still reasonable quality.

After my Oestopath suggested compression socks for the unknown rationale behind my swollen lower limbs, that were best hidden from sight, and dismissed by my 2 Hepatology docs. I did a lot of research to include the other online retailers and came across these. Within 3 days of wearing them, my swollen limbs have now regained their shape, and I can now wear clothing that shows them off again. I have also started to wear them under my 60 denier tights, as they are extremely comfortable to wear. They may be a little long in the length for some people, but they can be turned over without causing any constrictions. These are also better value that the other retailers, who were selling 2 pairs for a similar price, and only getting 2/3 star reviews. On hindsight I should have taken some before pictures, but hey I am one happy bunny. I will continue to wear them in the day, as I do sit for long periods at a desk, or standing in surgical theatres.
