I love this curling iron!! I needed a new curling iron and one with dual or universal voltage due to an upcoming travel. This is the best curling iron I’ve ever used. It is a very high-end iron that you would expect to see in a professional salon. The extra long barrel is nice for longer hair, it heats up incredibly fast, the clamp holds well without pulling your hair, and your hair glides nicely across the smooth surface. I especially like that once you set the temperature, you lock it, so even when you accidentally press the buttons on the handle while curling, it won’t change the settings or turn it off. I highly recommend this product!

It works great. Bought foe my teen foe christmas as she loves it. It curls really nice and she feels like she can get the same curls on both sides as she couldn't with her other one she had. Its the perfect size for her. She got the 1 inch . Shw has fine shoulder length hair just as reference

Love this curling iron .. I love the auto shut off as well as the long barrel . Easy to use. I’m so glad though that I can lock in the heat temp as u hit those buttons constantly while using. If it didn’t lock in it would be a different review and likely would not keep it.

I'll start by saying I really liked the performance of my Babyliss Pro I had been using since Aug 2024. The only reason I went back on the hunt for a new one is that the Babyliss does not have auto shut-off (as my prior few models had) and I was weary of getting to the end of my street and heading back home to be sure I turned it off. Reviews on the Bio Ionic were some of the best I had seen and it had every feature I sought: digital with multiple heat settings and auto shut-off. The longer barrel was but a bonus for my long hair that hits mid back. So, I was quite excited to try it out. The first thing I noticed and was quite disappointed by was that the built in stand didn't prevent the top several inches of the rod from resting on the counter surface. That certainly wasn't great, but I got massively frustrated the first time I used it because I kept unintentionally changing the temperature up or down as I tried to wind each curl. Changed the position of my hand and very intentionally attempted to NOT keep doing it to no avail. Ughhh. I was so annoyed. I was going to keep it a bit longer and try to find a method that didn't cause the buttons to move but also realized that the back parts of my hair weren't even getting a curl. I made sure that it was on the right temp (360) and that it had been on that setting for a good minute (you know, since the last time I accidentally changed it) and it still came out as straight as a sheet. My babyliss was still on the counter and I turned it on to my normal temp (355) and did the same section of hair with a perfect very loose curl. As a point of information, my stylist says my hair is "fine but I have a ton of it" I do use smaller sections in the front that I am trying to achieve a bit more of a curl than the back where I am just trying to smooth it and give it a bit it a wave and I have been successful in achieving that with Babyliss (3 models), Hot Tools (2 models), and Kristen Ess curling irons in that 360-ish range without any problem. Why this one couldn't do it I don't know, but between that, the stand not keeping the hot rod off the counter, and the inadvertent temp changes, it is sadly being returned. Glad others like it and I sure hope I can find my new favorite soon.

I have short to mid length hair and the 1” barrel is perfect for my hair. I love the adjustable temperatures on it. I have turned the heat way down on it and it curls so beautifully. I believe my hair is healthier since purchasing this curling iron.

I have long, thick hair and the 1.25 inch works great, leaves hair smooth and shiny. There’s no tugging or pulling, just a smooth glide that feels gentle on my hair. The design makes it easy to maneuver, and with a bit of practice and the help of a few tutorials, I’ve been able to perfect my waves. For best results, I found that taking time to get the technique down is key. Once you have that, the waves turn out beautifully, and they last all day with a light spritz of hairspray.

My daughter is in dance and needs her hair curled for shows. She has long hair and we have struggled to get the perfect curl with short barreled less expensive curling irons. I am very pleased with this curling iron. It has cut down the time it takes to curl her hair in half.

My book months in advance hairdresser recommended this styling iron to me, and it was worth the price. I have thick, long, coarse, naturally wavy hair. It heats up much faster than any other styling iron that I've owned. It is easy to use for curls or straightening. I really appreciate the cool tip on the end to grip as well.
