I was hesitant to put out the money for this hdmi cable (it is a lot). I just received it and installed it immediately. The difference in video quality is absolutely noticeable. In my case, I have a high end smart Samsung tv. I’m using a 4K Apple TV unit connected to one of the TV’s hdmi inputs. This is the cable that I replaced. The high speed hdmi cable replaced was less than $20. This monster cable is around $100. Is there an $80 difference? In my opinion absolutely YES! It is astonishing. I will be replacing another hdmi cable that connects another device to this tv with this monster cable because I notice such a difference with the first monster cable. To be clear, I have a high end tv set and I do notice video quality. For some, this may not be worth it. For me, it is! I have no hesitation to recommend this cable to anyone wanting to achieve the best video quality in their tv viewing experience!

First off, be careful what you get, I tried buying "amazon renewed" and received an OFF BRAND cable. Obviously, Amazon returns are easy so I started one and bought the cable I needed new for a premium. I tried a much cheaper but highly rated 2.1 cable on here that 90% of the time worked great but some games made the colors flicker and I knew from experience this was cable. The moment I put on this Monster Cable the problem was gone and the picture and colors were noticeably more clear / vibrant. My logic is its quite possible 1/100 of those cheap cables will be the same quality as Monster, its more likely youll receive one thats 10% the quality for 50% of the price. If your TV is cheap and you don't care, save your money where you can. If you're the type that "nit pits" pixels, buy this now. I worked Radioshack as a youth (sooo many moons ago) and we actually did a certified monster cable training thing. I'm not going to sit and say Monster isn't making a killing on cables but you're getting a really nice cable for the money . I can tell you right now I WISH they made Display port cables when I needed a 15+ foot 1.4 cable for a sim racing rig. I bought SOO many cables before finding one that can handle the signal. Cable ends are SUPER high quality, shielding is top notch and it meets every bit of the standard you're paying for and then some. Cons are the price but some things in life are buy once, cry once.

With this Monster Cable connected from my Denon 970h AV receiver and 4K LG Tv I have seen improvement in picture quality and simplified HDMI single cable now for receiver and Tv , a perfect match .
