Colorbar Just Smoky Matte Pencil Kajal, Just Marsala, 1.2g,Black

Just Smokey Kajal I have been using this since so many years now for that quick smokey eye look. It is 3 in 1 product which can be used as a kajal, eyeliner and eyeshadow and is matte which lasts upto 12 hours. So, if you are a beginner or someone who has no time for makeup then this is for you. Also, it has built-in smudger which allows you to play with the intensity of your look. The texture is very soft, velvety that glides smoothly and is high pigmented. It is waterproof, smudge-proof, and transfer resistant. It’s a must buy.

This is one of my most favourite Kajal. It’s smooth, the texture is great, my eye lids are a bit oily so it lasts good for three to four hours. I can’t find a match to this color in other brands in a similar packaging. I don’t like the smudger but I don’t even use it much. It’s a bit expensive but one of the Kajals I can’t do without. It can be a good addition to aging eyes as it’s not as dark as a black Kajal. I am of olive undertone and it looks great on me. The color is burgundy, or a mix of maroon and brown but more towards maroon. This is my second purchase.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT - Colorbar's Just Smoky - Black Kaajal is a must have in every girls/ladies make up collection. Its by far the best available in the market. It is nice and sleek available in various colours under JUST SMOKY COLLECTION - Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Grey to name a few. It's pencil like in shape with one end having fine tip kaajal and other with smudger sponge to smudge for effect. Capping is of utmost importance so ensure you cap kaajal very well and do not cap it lose for air to enter else it will dry quickly and will be of no use. It truly is one stroke application but smudges after couple of hours may be after 4-5 hours because of pollution dirt and sweat and humidity. Not to blame the product though. You have to play smart such that kaajal does not smudge and yet stays for long (which the brand does). Application is very smooth and tip of the kaajal is very fine for application. Its jet black in colour apt for kohl effect and also as the name suggests for SMOKY eyes. If you are not a regular user then it lasts longg but its expensive for people for day-to-day use yet the best amongst other expensive brands. I am totally happy with the purchase and have been using it for years now. Better to invest in Colorbar's SHARPNER for fine sharpening of the kaajal. **Another biggest advantage - It's Cruelty free, No Chemicals. What can one ask for. **PS - If you have purchased COLORBAR'S DUAL SHARPENER - then please sharpen through the smaller slot/hole which is apt for this kaajal. The other slot/hole of sharpener is for bigger kohl like kaajal's available with the brand. **ALSO please do no sharpen with your stationary SHARPNER. I have seen many people do that. Its a huge mistake. Thats why may be Kaajal breaks and becomes brittle all the time. DRAWBACK - Nothing except for not easily being available and increasing price over the past couple of years against the grams given. PACKAGING - Initially it came in Black Packaging but this time it came is Brown Packaging. Rest everythjng remains the same. PRICE - Expensive but the best brand available for Day-to-Day user otherwise affordable for occassional users like us. SELLER - Sold by my Most Trusted "CLOUDTAIL". Seller also plays a important role. Always try and vouch for Cloudtail. I was sceptical for the bad reviews and broken Kaajal that people had received but because it was Cloudtail I went ahead and ordered. And I luckily got my Kaajal in perfect condition - not broken, not dried up. DELIVERY - On time, as Expected. Happy Application !!! ** Always sharpen your pencils before application (if it has got over) like that you will expose your Kaajal little less to the air and it will stay intact and smooth and not chalky or dried up state. Thats ideally what I do as I am not a regular user. And also I apply "very very very little coconut oil" to the tip so as to save the tip of kaajal from drying. Works great for me atleast. To be honest I am not a pro at doing makeup, but this Kajal pencil by Colorbar makes my life so easy because it’s a 3-in 1 product now I can use it as a kajal daily and as an eyeshadow for a smokey effect when I’m going out for parties and as a liner too waterproof, smudge-proof, and transfer-resistant. The built in smudger just makes the application way too easier and creates a perfect smokey eye. This kajal also stays all day long because it lasts upto 12 hours. Totally a Must Buy kajal.

I have used almost all brands and none of them had my eyes burning like this one. Not worth it. And also the colour is pretty full. Not a very nice brown. It’s shimmery and light goldish brown. Doesn’t show up on medium skin tone. Either way the burning eyes are not worth it.

I have a very oily eyelid. May be extreme once's. Lotus, Mayeballine, Lakme and many such brands dont work for me. This one did not impress me as well. The regular kajal of colorbar the one in the silver pencil is yet a better one then this to me. I won't purchase this again. Not worth the price for me atleast. But, must work for people not having oily eyelids.
