Although this doesn’t work on my white board it works on the old traditional chalkboard. I just don’t have the capacity on my chalkboard to use the product. Very sturdy and will work on a compatible chalkboard.

I had a problem with drafts entering our house from the jamb side and bottom of our steel patio and garage entry doors.We live in the Dallas TX area where our weather extremes cause wood jambs to expand and contract a lot. We used to use those door draft stopper rolls that you put on the floor next to the door, but they are a pain when you want to open the door -- they also won't help with the drafts that enter from the lock/knob side of the jamb. I bought the 1" Magnetic strip for the Jamb side and the 2" for the door bottom and no more drafts... Also, no sticky residue on the door when it comes time to replace them and /or paint the door

Overall the magnets are strong enough on these. If you leave them in one spot too long they actually get harder to take off but that’s not a bad thing for me. They cut easily to the size you want. As far as the dry erase properties go, they erase pretty well but there will be some residue leftover. I use Expo cleaner and it takes it right off and makes them white again. I threw the marker it came with in the trash. Use good markers and you shouldn’t have an issue

Purchased this to use in conjunction with fiberglass window screen(another vendor) to make a bug screen to cover my Forester sunroof while camping. I cut a piece of screen larger than the sunroof opening and laid it over it. I used tin snips to cut four pieces of the magnetic tape slightly longer than each side of the sunroof. The magnetic strip cuts and unrolls easily and adheres through the screen to the outside top of the vehicle. Of course gravity helps some, but I believe that it is strong enough to keep the screen in place in most windy conditions of locations where I may camp. It is easy to take off and roll up. I am looking forward to trying it in actual camping conditions in the near future. I will just need remember to to take it off before I start driving home.The tape would not adhere to the front of my stainless steel refrigerator, but did adhere to the painted side. Of course, no magnet will adhere to any non-ferrous material. I believe the product is designed to write on with a dry erase marker and stick to a ferrous surface. It is only made to hold itself up, but a 1 inch strip will hold a maximum of two sheets of 8 x 11 pieces of paper to a refrigerator.

I have an old filing cabinet that I refurbished and painted for use in my home office/craft room. It looks great but labels don't stick to the paint well and it didn't come with the little slots that some filing cabinets come with on the drawers to hold label cards. I ran across this and decided to try and it works perfect! It took about 2 seconds and now it makes if feel so much more organized (OCD...lol)I've also used it on the refrigerator for a coupon and on the front door (it's metal) to leave a note for the delivery guy.So simple...but what a great idea!

This product is OK. The size is accurate and the magnetic adhesion works great. However, I’ve only been using them for about 2 weeks and erasing the dry erase marker is difficult with just water and a paper towel. The marker has been on for 5-7 days and won’t come off completely unless the marker was just used in it (see pic). I haven’t used soap nor the spray on cleaner, I was hoping just water would be enough. The same marker wipes off easily (no residue) on a whiteboard I bought. So I know it’s not the marker.
