The absolute best malted milk you can buy and at a very reasonable price in my opinion. (I've tried several different brands!) Definitely my go-to!

childhood favorite makes a great vanilla malt with ice cream. just add 1-2 cups ice cream, 3 cups malt, and 4 oz milk, then stir with spoon or fork.

From the questions above, it seems many people don't know what this is. Back in the 50's and 60's there were 'soda shops' and soda fountains in stores like Walgreens, etc. I guess today we have ice cream shops (or parlors). Anyway a favorite drink was a Malted Milk Shake. This product when added to vanilla ice cream, milk and Hersey's Chocolate Syrup in the right ratio and blended creates a Malted Mike Shake. It works best to have the highest grade HARD ice cream since much of today's ice cream is full of air and water. You can vary the flavor of the ice cream and syrup to get other combinations but purists would only want chocolate.

A bit pricey these days. Actually hadn’t used in a long time but cooking shows reminded me how much I enjoy the flavor. I only use in soda fountain shakes but intend to try a cake or cookies.

So I'm a bit old fashioned and I LOVE malted milkshakes. I stop occasionally during the summer various places but there aren't any near where I live that have really good ones so I decided to buy this and make my own. It's perfect - doesn't clump up and makes the perfect chocolate malted milkshake to beat those 90 degree summer days.

The product itself is good. However, I ordered two and both were already 4-5 months past sell by date.
