Polar V650, Cycling Computer, GPS, Heart Rate Monitor, Touch Screen

Nice bit of kit I would recommend getting the H10 pro chest strap, a rubber protection case to dull down the white and matte screen protectors.The initial set up is easy but for some reason I had to pair the chest strap 3 times and update the chest strap software before it paired permanently now it connects automatically.The navigation side is a bit of a nuisance, I planned my cycling routes using komoot then save it and export it as a GPX file , Then you go into the polar flow software and go to the right hand side and find favourites and then you can find a section to add your favourite routes which you have to locate the GPX file with and then upload , Now you have uploaded the route you need to re sync the V650 before it will appear in your favourites section on the v650 and routes before you can find it.The routes section on the V650 is fairly good the only problem being that the screen is like a mirror which is why I have added the matte screen protector .Overall a good product

I had major problems getting this to sync up with an iMac. It was not an issue with a MacBook Pro and was set up in no time. However it took quite some time to get it working on my iMac. Eventually I got it sorted and it seems to be working OK.

If you are in the polar system and looking to focus on training in the right heart rate zone, this’s all you need I think. Maps are fine. Integration with monitors and flow are easy to set up. Easy to read display even in sun. Integrates with strava. Doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of some other devices so if you want those it may not be for you. But it does all I need.

I own one of these and can tell you honestly to avoid it. Always has sync issues, worst of all imported routes, although shown aligned to the map in import preview, do not always line up with maps on the device. When they are not aligned the v650 loses the route and your marker will gradually make it's way to the edge of the screen so you haven't got a clue what is coming up. You'll be better off with a cheap android phone with google maps and strava on it.

The heart rate monitor is ok. Not as accurate as the polar V10.Not a fan of the computer. It feels slow and clunky. I bought it as I already have polar products but this has lowered my opinion of the brand. Nothing that impressive to say about it.It works!

I have been using this for about 4 years and it's spot on. As uncomplicated as you want to make it.I use it on a Merida Mercato 300 road bike and a Merida Big Nine Limited MTB with HRM speed and cadence sensors and it's an accurate piece of kit. HRM works very accurately for me so I am more than happy with it.Under £250 for the V650, HRM, speed sensor & cadence sensor. £270 if you add a second bike mount of you don't want to change between bikes. Great value IMHO.

Initially I loved the v650 and it has a large functionality for the price, however the syncing via polar flow has always been hit and miss. Recently this has completely failed and I have been unable to sync any data for almost a month. I'm still waiting on at least acknowledgement from Polar for the support query I raised by email, website, Facebook, and Twitter.I have found though that a lot of the information the v650 gives can be got from downloading the free Polar Beat app so I would recommend using this with a phone mount on your bike and you will be able to upload exercise data to the polar flow site at no cost.

Pas grand chose à dire de négatif, voire rien du tout. Je savais ce que j'achetais. Un compteur GPS Polar qui effectivement date un peu mais tactile simple et intuitif. Usage pour du vélotaf qui me convient parfaitement. Simplement un peu compliqué à synchroniser sur le PC mais j'ai tout de même réussi. J'ai protégé mon compteur avec une coque au cas où. Voilà tout bon pour mon usage.

Acquistato il Polar 650v per la bici da strada assieme ai sensori velocità e cadenza ed al supporto frontale. Molto semplice da utilizzare e configurare. Ho dovuto contattare l'assistenza Polar in quanto si era scollegato il sensore di pedalata e sono stati gentilissimi e celeri nella risposta. Durata della batteria BUONA inoltre presenta una piccola luce a led sul frontale, molto utile per farsi notare nelle gallerie. Buon riepilogo dell'allenamento, specialmente se collegato al cardiofrequenzimetro. Non ho ancora avuto la possibilità di provare la cartografia.Con l'applicazione scaricata sul PC o telefono si accede anche a StravaPienamente soddisfatto e ripeterei l'acquisto.Amazon TOP come sempre

Weil die Bewertungen teilweise sehr ungünstig sind, wollte ich das Gerät nicht kaufen. Jetzt bin ich froh, dass ich mich zum Kauf entschlossen habe. Die Verbindung mit dem Computer und das synchronisieren hat von Anfang an hervorragend funktioniert. Alle wichtigen Daten können deutlich abgelesen werden. Teilweise auch als Funktionslinie möglich. Die Anzeige kann man selbst gestalten. Sehr übersichtlich. Inkl. Kartenmaterial. Ich habe 3 Layer mit Karten in unterschiedlichen Maßstäben. Kleines Manko. Die Layer mit den Karten bleiben; den Maßstab muss man vor jeder Fahrt neu einstellen. Standard ist immer 2 km. Hier wäre mir lieber, wenn der Maßstab in den Layern gespeicht bliebe. Wie gesagt, ich verbinde nur mit dem PC, Nach jedem synchronisieren stehen die Daten aber sofort auf der Handy APP zur Verfügung. Auch das klappt reibungslos. Die Höhenmessung und auch das GPS sind sehr genau. Die Fahrstreckke inkl. aller Daten, wie Herzfrequenz, Trittfrequenz, Höhe, Geschwindigkeit usw. kann man zu Hause sehr leicht anschauen. ich würde den V650 wieder kaufen.
