The moment I saw the product package I knew there was something up. I ran to the kitchen and held up a banana against the packet. No, no, it's definitely not yellow. Then I worked my way through the fruit bowl and came to the conclusion it's actually orange. Not "an" orange, but the colour. My OCD immediately kicked in. How was I supposed to deal with one of my tools being orange when all the rest are yellow?Despite that, it's a good product. It's a decent size too. It's about 6cm long and 2cm wide. That's a guess, I didn't measure it. Oh damn now I have to measure it. It's 6.6cm long and 1.8cm wide.There is tons of string. I'm not going to measure it. No, really, I'm not. Damn it. It's 16m long.The string is what lost it one star. It's too fine and it just knots too easily. I guarantee you when you try to prepare this for first use you are going to spend half an hour untangling the huge orange ball you end up with. It's also stretchy, which is really not good.Recommend even though it doesn't match my set of yellow tools and I now have to take anti-depressants.

Out on site, don’t want to worry about it getting stolen, this is the plumb for you. Cheap, practical and does the job. Choose the weight wisely and even just as a spare, it’s not bad a at all, especially for the price. Delivered quickly. Machined poorly but hey, it’s cheap as chips.

GOOD PRODUCT AND GOOD VALUE

Good plumb bob and line. Only problems were that the string had a join in it and it took ages to disentangle the string.

Well made metal Plumb with a lot of nylon line. It would be nice to store the line in some way. Hence the 4 stars.It will do the job.The modern laser levels have nearly made it obsolete but not yet.

Just what you would expect

Once you have made up a suitable H shaped string winder then this worked really well with plenty of line and decent weight. I used to to fit +80 mtrs of guttering 8 6 mtr down pipe and this bit of kit was invaluable.
