These socks are very comfortable, wash well and are very soft. I had ankle surgery and these were wonderful for my recovery. I have just ordered another set.

Great socks. Very comfortable and no binding in the ankle area. Also warm to the feet without being to bulky.

What a relief to wear a pair of comfortable socks. These don't restrict the blood flow. There isn't a mark on my ankle and yet the sock stays up and it fits on the foot like a regular size sock. I wish all socks had this stretchy band ankle.

Love the feel and fit of the socks. The top is not binding and leaves no ring around your leg. The colors are also great.

Finally I found short ladies sock with ankles that I can wear. No binding or tightness on my older ankles. So, so comfortable. Amazon is the greatest.

Very soft and comfortable

When I first put these on, they were perfect. Not tight at all around my naturally thick ankles made worse by arthritis. They were extremely comfortable and did not get hot while walking like the bamboo ones did. I was ready to order more. Then I had a day with multiple errands with lots of walking. (I use a rollator for walking and wear Hoka shoes for stability at my orthopedist’s suggestion since I tend to stumble and sometimes fall.) My socks kept sliding down into my shoes. Then today when I was putting them on the very top of one sock separated where they are the thickest. No hole. But if the separation continues then definitely will not be wearable. I hand washed the first pair but it’s taking a long time for them to dry. If things are better with the 3rd pair on the next big errand day I will update this to 4 stars. So far they are still the best ankle socks I’ve tried. So may have to live with pulling them up out of my shoes.

Oddly enough, this sock does not work for me. The ankle is fantastic. Wish that ankle was on the bamboo socks. That would be perfect. These however, are super small on the foot. You can feel the compression after wearing for an hour or so. For me, this makes me feel like I have vertigo. I become dizzy, lightheaded, cannot keep my footing, until I remove them, then I feel better. Had to switch back to my bamboo ones as these gave me that reaction. Saw someone post a review with this similar issue. Now I wish I paid attention and listened but I guess now I know for sure. Update on my review: The light grey are better fitting. I am trying them out for a second time and the foot part appears realistic in size almost ok for an adult foot. The dark grey however are terrible way too small could fit a toddler and makes me get a vertigo feeling. Light grey I cancelled return for now as I feel fine its been 4 hours so far wearing at work. We will see. Update: The fit depends on the color. The dark grey and beige are tighter on ankle, the light grey and brown are perfect!! My new order of light grey just received today also has a more relaxed fit on the foot too!! Definitely the best!! These are way better than the bamboo by far but some of the colors are way way way too small would fit a toddler. Just have to order a bunch and perform trial and error to find the right ones. Finally done with my sock search!

Great color very comfortable

Socks arrived promptly. They are a good thickness and soft on my feet, and stay up well. They didn't shrink at all in the wash.
